    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan aksi demonstrasi mahasiswa yang viral di media sosial dalam penolakan kebijakan pemerintah mengenai Undang-Undang baru yang akan disahkan. Biasanya, publik lebih tertarik dengan sesuatu yang berbeda seperti yang dilakukan mahasiswa demonstrasi ini dengan mengungkapkan tuturan menggunakan gaya bahasa yang unik. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengungkap aspek yang terkait di dalam tuturan mahasiswa demonstrasi tersebut. Aspek yang terkait tindak tutur tersebut, yaitu tindak tutur ilokusi yang dikembangkan oleh Austin (1976) dan Searle (1976) dan aspek gaya bahasa satire. Data analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan mahasiswa yang melakukan demonstrasi terhadap penolakan Undang-Undang baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sementara teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara metode simak, dokumentasi dan catat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menganalisis jenis tindak tutur ilokusi dalam bahasa satire, (2) menganalisis gaya bahasa satire, dan (3) mendeskripsikan tanggapan publik dalam kolom komentar media sosial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa tuturan satire yang digunakan dalam demonstrasi mahasiwa yaitu, tindak tutur asertif, direktif, ekspresif, komisif. Sementara itu, gaya bahasa satire yang ditemukan terdapat 46 tuturan dan terdapat 6 majas yang ditemukan yaitu, majas ironi, sarkasme, parodi, hiperbola, metafora, dan oksonom. Namun, tanggapan publik di dalam kolom komentar media sosial mengenai tuturan satire mahasiswa demontrasi, dominan menyatakan setuju dan mendukung aksi demonstrasi mahasiswa tersebut.

    DIVERSITY OF SATIRE MEANINGS IN POLITICAL DISCOURSE

    ABSTRACT

    This research was encouraged by student protesters that went viral on social media in the rejection of government policies regarding the new law to be passed. Frequently, the public was more interested in something different, such as what the demonstration was done by expressing the speech by using a unique language style. Therefore, this research was conducted to uncover the aspects related to the demonstration's student speech. Aspects related to these speech acts include illocutionary speech acts developed by Austin (1976) and Searle (1976) and aspects of the satirical style. The data analyzed in this study was the speech of students who demonstrated against the rejection of the new law by using the descriptive qualitative method. In the meantime, the data collection technique was done by observing, documenting, and taking notes. The purposes of this study were (1) to analyze the types of illocutionary speech acts in satire language, (2) to analyze the style of the satire language, and (3) to describe the public's response in the social media comment section. Based on the assessment conducted, it could be concluded that the satirical utterances used in student protesters, namely assertive, directive, expressive, commissive speech acts. Besides, there were 46 satire styles found, and six figures of speech were found, namely irony, sarcasm, parody, hyperbole, metaphor, and oxonom. The public response in the social media comment section regarding the satire of the demonstration students dominantly agreed and supported the student protesters.
