Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan model alat evaluasi BIPA, khususnya keterampilan menyimak. Saat ini, Indonesia telah memiliki model alat evaluasi bahasa, yaitu UKBI. Namun, UKBI masih digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan penutur asli bahasa Indonesia dan penutur asing secara bersamaan. Hal tersebut menjadi suatu permasalahan yang perlu dihadapi. Salah satu solusi dari masalah tersebut adalah melakukan pengembangan model alat evaluasi dengan mengadaptasi model alat evaluasi bahasa bagi penutur asing yang sudah ada, yaitu TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication). Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan profil, rancnagan, pengembangan, serta kelayakan model alat evaluasi menyimak BIPA adaptasi model TOEIC. Adapun metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Research and Development (R&D). Model alat evaluasi ini dikembangkan menjadi empat bentuk, yaitu seksi I (gambar), seksi II (pertanyaan respons), seksi III (percakapan), dan seksi IV (ceramah). Uji kelayakan model alat evaluasi dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui penilaian validasi ahli dan analisis butir soal. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan persentase sebesar 94, 81%, artinya model alat evaluasi memiliki kategori layak digunakan. Adapun hasil analisis butir soal menunjukkan persentase sebesar 100%, artinya setiap butir soal dalam model alat evaluasi layak digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, model alat evaluasi ini layak untuk digunakan dalam mengukur keterampilan menyimak BIPA. This research is motivated by the needed of evaluation models for BIPA, especially listening. Nowadays, Indonesia has a language evaluation model, namely UKBI. However, UKBI has not been submitted for the foreign speakers because UKBI also used for the native speakers. This has become one of the problems that being faced. One of the solutions to solve these problem is develop an evaluation model by adapt an existing language evaluation model, specifically TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication). Therefore, the purpose of this research is to know and describe profile, design, development, and advisability of BIPA listening evaluation model by adapting the TOEIC model. The evaluation model is developed into four types, part 1 (photograph), part 2 (question response), part 3 (conversation), and part 4 (talk). The advisability of the evaluation model has tested by expert judgement and item analysis. The results of expert judgement showed 94, 81% percentage, which means that the evaluation model is proper to use. As for the results of item analysis showed 100% percentage, it means that each item in this evaluation model is proper to use. Based on the research results, this evaluation models is proper to measure the listening skill of BIPA learners.
