Abstract

ABSTRAK Rois Abdullatif (2020): Persepsi dan Motivasi Belajar Mahasiswa dalam Implementasi Model Pembelajaran E-learning Berbasis Moodle Learning Management System (LMS): DPTM FPTK UPI. E-learning adalah model pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan media teknologi dan internet. Kehadiran e-learning saat ini sangat dibutuhkan karena berbagai kemudahan dan keluwesannya. Hal ini mampu membantu pendidik dalam menggantikan model pembelajaran langsung yang saat ini sulit untuk dilaksanakan. E-learning berbasis Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) saat ini sedang dicoba dan dikembangkan pada beberapa kelas yang ada pada program studi pendidikan teknik mesin khususnya konsentrasi otomotif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa program studi pendidikan teknik mesin konsentrasi otomotif setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran e-learning berbasis LMS yang dimuat pada situs web yusep.gnimio.com. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian populasi dari seluruh mahasiswa program studi pendidikan teknik mesin konsentrasi otomotif FPTK UPI sejumlah 74 orang responden. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu bahwa persepsi mahasiswa tentang model pembelajaran e-learning berbasis Moodle LMS termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat positif dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa setelah penggunaan model pembelajaran e-learning berbasis Moodle LMS termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang. Kata Kunci: Persepsi Mahasiswa, Motivasi belajar, e-learning, Learning Management System (LMS), Moodle ABSTRACT Rois Abdullatif (2020): Students' Perception and Learning Motivation in The Implementation of E-learning Based on Moodle Learning Management System (LMS): DPTM FPTK UPI. E-learning is a model that uses technology and the internet as the learning media. The presence of e-learning is essential needed nowadays due to its various conveniences and flexibility. It could help educators to replace the direct instruction which is currently difficult to be applied now. At the present moment, e-learning based on the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) is being tested and developed in several classes in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, especially in the automotive concentration. This study aims to analyze the students' perception and learning motivation after used the e-learning model base on LMS published on the website yusep.gnimio.com. The design of this study was a quantitative descriptive method. It used a population study in which the participants were drawn from 74 students of the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program with the automotive concentration at FPTK UPI. The findings showed that the students' perception of the e-learning based on the Moodle LMS categorized as high, and the students' learning motivation after using the learning model based on the Moodle LMS categorized as moderate.
