Abstract

Besarnya potensi perbankan syariah dan pertumbuhan industri perbankan syariah yang positif pada tiap tahunnya nyatanya tidak sejalan dengan pertumbuhan pangsa pasar industri perbankan syariah di Indonesia. Sejak awal terbentuknya bank syariah di Indonesia, perkembangan pangsa pasar perbankan syariah bersifat fluktuatif dan peningkatannya cenderung lamban. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh tingkat efisiensi bank, tingkat aksesibilitas bank dan jumlah Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK) terhadap peningkatan nilai market share bank umum syariah. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini berupa deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian kausalitas. Adapun metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu regresi data panel meggunakan aplikasi eviews. Sampel pada penelitian ini terdiri dari delapan bank umum syariah dari total 14 bank umum syariah sebagai populasi. Secara deskriptif rata-rata keseluruhan nilai market share BUS adalah 8.09%. Berdasarkan tingkat efisiensi keseluruhan BUS berada dalam kategori sehat secara efisiensi, lalu rata-rata keseluruhan jumlah kantor sebanyak 208 kantor dan jumlah DPK bank syariah secara rata-rata keseluruhan berjumlah 19.886,76 miliar rupiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aksesibilitas bank berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap market share bank syariah, sedangkan efisiensi bank dan DPK berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap market share bank syariah. Secara simultan ketiga variabel independen yakni efisiensi bank, aksesibilitas bank dan Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap market share bank umum syariah sebagai variabel dependen. The large potential of Islamic banking and the positive growth of the Islamic banking industry each year is not in line with the growth in the market share of the Islamic banking industry in Indonesia. Since the inception of Islamic banking in Indonesia, the development of the Islamic banking market share has been volatile and its growth has tended to be slow. This study aims to analyze the effect of the level of bank efficiency, the level of bank accessibility and the amount of third party funds (TPF) on the increase in the market share value of Islamic commercial banks. The research method in this research is descriptive quantitative with a causality research design. The analysis method used is panel data regression using the eviews application. The sample in this study consisted of eight Islamic commercial banks from a total of 14 Islamic commercial banks as a population. Descriptively, the overall average market share value of BUS is 8.09%. Based on the overall efficiency level BUS is in the healthy category in terms of efficiency, then the overall average number of offices is 208 offices and the total number of Islamic bank deposits is 19,886.76 billion rupiahs on average. The results showed that bank accessibility had a significant positive effect on the market share of Islamic banks, while bank efficiency and TPF had a significant negative effect on the market share of Islamic banks. Simultaneously, the three independent variables, namely bank efficiency, bank accessibility and Third Party Funds (TPF) have a significant effect on the market share of Islamic commercial banks as the dependent variable.
