Abstract

Verba merupakan unsur penting dalam membentuk sebuah kalimat bahasa Jerman. Bentuk verba akan berubah ketika dikonjugasikan dan maknanya pun dapat berubah jika ditambahkan prefiks. Dalam beberapa kasus, verba berprefiks akan berbeda makna konteks dengan makna kamusnya jika ditempatkan di kalimat yang berbeda pula. Contohnya adalah verba berprefiks ein- dan aus- yang sering dijumpai dalam berbagai jenis bacaan, tak terkecuali di dalam artikel berbahasa Jerman seperti artikel bertema Sprache & Kultur pada majalah daring NEON. Adapun tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui 1) Verba berprefiks ein- dan aus- yang terdapat dalam sumber data, 2) Makna kamus dari verba berprefiks ein- dan aus- yang terdapat dalam sumber data, dan 3) Makna kontekstual dari kalimat yang terdapat verba berprefiks ein- dan aus- dalam sumber data. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran makna verba berprefiks ein- dan aus- yang terdapat dalam kalimat/teks berbahasa Jerman. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif. Dengan metode ini data dikumpulkan, diklasifikasikan, dianalisis, kemudian disimpulkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 29 verba berprefiks ¬ein- dan 35 verba berprefiks aus- ditemukan dalam sumber data. 29 verba berprefiks ein- tersebut tersebar di 36 kalimat, sedangkan 34 verba berprefiks¬ aus¬- tersebar di 62 kalimat. Dari keseluruhan verba berprefiks ein- dan aus- yang sudah terkumpul, beberapa verba memiliki makna konteks yang berbeda dengan makna kamusnya. Makna prefiks ein- dan aus- pada verba yang ditemukan dalam sumber data diklasifikasikan berdasarkan makna prefiks menurut kamus daring DWDS (Digitales Wörterbuch der deutschen Sprache). Hasil pengklasifikasian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa prefiks pada verba berprefiks ein- dalam sumber data diklasifikasikan ke 5 dari 7 makna prefiks ein-, sedangkan untuk prefiks pada verba berprefiks aus- diklasifikasikan ke 4 dari 6 makna prefiks aus-. Verb is an essential element in forming a sentence in German. The form of the verb will change when it is conjugated, and the meaning can also change when a prefix is added. In some cases, the meaning of prefixed verbs will be different in context than in the dictionary if placed in different sentences. An example would be the prefixed verb ein- and aus- which is often encountered in various types of readings, the German-language article such as Sprache & Kultur theme article on the NEON online magazine is no exception to this. The purpose of this research is to find out 1) The prefixed verb ein- and aus- in the data sources, 2) Dictionary meanings of the prefixed verbs ein- and aus- contained in the data source, and 3) The contextual meaning of the sentence of which there are prefixed verbs ein- and aus- in the data source. This research is expected to be able to describe the meaning of the verbs with ein- and aus- prefixes contained in sentences/texts in German. The descriptive analysis method is the method used in this research. With this method, the data is collected, classified, analyzed, then concluded. The results showed that as many as 29 prefixed ein- verbs and 35 prefixed aus- verbs are found in the data source. 29 prefixed verbs ein- it spread over 36 sentences, while the 34 verbs prefixed aus- spread in 62 sentences. The overall prefixes ein- and aus- verbs collected, some of these verbs have contextual meanings that are different from the meanings in the dictionary. The meaning of ein- and aus- prefixes on the verbs were also found classified based on the meaning of the prefix according to the online dictionary DWDS (Digitales Wörterbuch der deutschen Sprache). The results of the classification show that the prefixes on the verb prefixed ein- in the data source classified into 5 of 7 meanings of ein- prefixes, whereas for the prefixes aus- on the verb prefixed aus- classified into 4 of 6 meanings of aus- prefixes.
