Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan instrumen penilaian kinerja yang berupa task dan rubrik pada praktikum spektrofotometri UV-Vis yang tervalidasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya tuntutan dari dunia industri terhadap peserta didik lulusan SMK Jurusan Kimia Analisis untuk memiliki kompetensi dalam analisis kimia dengan menggunakan instrumen spektrofotometri UV-Vis; dan belum adanya penilaian kinerja pada praktikum spektrofotometri UV-VIS dengan rubrik skala peringkat yang dapat mengukur kompetensi peserta didik dengan praktis dan akurat. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian pengembangan dan validasi yang terdiri dari lima langkah pengembangan penilaian kinerja menurut Enger dan Yager, yaitu: menentukan tujuan penilaian kinerja; mendaftarkan spesifikasi keterampilan-keterampilan hasil belajar, menentukan kriteria kinerja, memilih task, dan mengembangkan rubrik penilaian kinerja yang sesuai. Instrumen yang dikembangkan mencakup empat kompetensi, yaitu: membuat larutan kerja; mengoperasikan alat spektrofotometer UV-Vis; mengolah data; dan melaporkan hasil praktikum. Instrumen yang telah dikembangkan kemudian divalidasi, dan diuji kepraktisannya. Tahap validasi konten oleh lima validator ahli menyatakan instrumen valid dengan nilai CVI 0,82. Tahap uji kepraktisan dilakukan melalui survei terhadap sembilan guru analisis kimia instrumen pada Program Keahlian Kimia Analisis. Hasil survei menyatakan bahwa instrumen yang dikembangkan memiliki kriteria sangat praktis dengan nilai kepraktisan sebesar 3,76. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa instrumen penilaian kinerja pada praktikum spektrofotometri UV-Vis yang dikembangkan memenuhi syarat valid dan praktis. ABSTRACT This study was aimed to develop a performance assessment instrument in the form of tasks and rubrics on a validated UV–Vis Spectrophotometry practicum. This study was conducted since the industry demanded students graduated from vocational high school, especially analytical chemistry department, to have the competencies on analytical chemistry using UV–Vis Spectrophotometry. Moreover, there was no performance assessment instrument on UV-VIS spectrophotometry practicum with a ranking scale rubric to measure students' competencies practically and accurately. This study used a research development and validation design consisting of five steps for developing performance assessment according to Enger and Yager. The stages included determining the objectives of the performance assessment; classifying the specifications of skills, determining performance criteria, selecting the tasks, and developing appropriate performance assessment rubrics. The instrument developed included four competencies, namely making solutions; operating a UV-Vis spectrophotometer; processing data; and reporting the result of the practicum. The developed instrument was validated, and tested for its practicality. The content validity conducted by five experts revealed that the instrument was valid with a CVI value of 0.82. The practical validity was carried out through a survey to nine analytical chemistry instrument teachers in the Analytical Chemistry Expertise Program. The result of the survey indicated that the instrument had practicality criteria with its value of 3.76. In general, it can be concluded that the performance assessment instruments on UV-Vis spectrophotometry practicum met validity and practicality criteria.
