Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah-masalah terkait konsep bangun ruang sisi datar. Kesulitan ini diakibatkan oleh adanya hambatan belajar (learning obstacle) siswa yang juga terkait dengan kemampuan spasialnya. Hambatan belajar tersebut dikategorikan ke dalam tiga jenis, yaitu ontogonic obstacle, epistemological obstacle, dan didactical obstacle. Di era New Normal ini, guru harus menerapkan Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) sebagai adaptasi kebiasaan baru dalam dunia pendidikan khususnya di sekolah. Sementara itu, desain pembelajaran yang umum digunakan oleh guru di kelas tidak lagi efektif diterapkan apalagi untuk sistem yang berbasis daring. Desain didaktis yang disusun dalam penelitian ini kemudian dirancang dengan memanfaatkan media e-learning sebagai bantuan dalam menerapkan desain didaktis ini. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain didaktis berbantuan media e-learning sehingga dapat mengantisipasi learning obstacle dan mengembangkan kemampuan spasial siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan tahapan dalam Didactical Design Research (DDR) yaitu analisis situasi didaktis atau analisis prospektif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah seorang guru bidang studi matematika serta 25 siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kota Bandung. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan tes tertulis. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis untuk mengetahui learning obstacle siswa serta menyusun learning trajectory siswa. Learning obstacle dan learning trajectory tersebut dijadikan landasan dalam penyusunan desain didaktis berbantuan media e-learning. Selanjutnya, hasil dalam penelitian ini berupa desain didaktis pada konsep bangun ruang sisi datar yang memanfaatkan media e-learning untuk mengembangkan kemampuan spasial siswa. This research was motivated by the difficulty of students in solving problems related to the concept of solid geometry with flat side. This difficulty was caused by students' learning obstacle which are also related to their spatial ability. Learning obstacle is categorized into three types, namely ontogonic obstacle, epistemological obstacle, and didactical obstacle. In this New Normal era, teachers must implement Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) as an adaptation of new habits in the sector of education, especially in schools. Meanwhile, learning design that is commonly used by the teachers in the classroom is no longer effectively applied especially for online-based system. The didactical design compiled in this study was then designed using e-learning media as an aid in implementing this didactical design. Therefore, this study aims to develop a didactical design assisted by e-learning media so that it can anticipate learning obstacle and develop students' spatial ability. This study used a qualitative approach using stages in Didactical Design Research (DDR), namely didactical situation analysis or prospective analysis. Participants in this study were a teacher of mathematics and 25 junior high school students in Bandung. Collecting data in this study used observation, interviews, study documentation, and written test. The data obtained were then analyzed to determine students' learning obstacle and compile students’ learning trajectory. Learning obstacle and learning trajectory were used as the foundation in compiling didactical design assisted by e-learning media. Furthermore, the result in this study was didactical design on the concept of solid geometry with flat side utilizing e-learning media to develop students' spatial ability.
