Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain pembelajaran berbasis reading infusion dengan pendekatan saintifik pada materi usaha dan energi serta untuk memperoleh hasil respon akademik dari desain pembelajaran yang telah dibuat. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil survei PISA terbaru pada tahun 2018 yang menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi saintifik siswa sekolah menengah di Indonesia berada di peringkat 72 dari 78 peserta. Sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan literasi saintifik siswa, maka diperlukan pembelajaran yang dapat membekali kompetensi literasi saintifik siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode design research. Instrumen yang digunakan sebagai alat pengumpul data yaitu lembar respon desain RPP dengan menerapkan Hypotetical Learning Trajectory (HLT), lembar respon reading infusion, lembar respon LKPD dan instrumen kompetensi literasi saintifik yang diberikan kepada ahli untuk dinilai kesesuaian serta kualitasnya. Melalui pengolahan mean dan standar deviasi skor responden terhadap desain RPP, reading infusion dan LKPD, diperoleh hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan tingkat kesesuaian dan kualitas desain. Kesimpulannya adalah, penelitian ini mengahasilkan desain pembelajaran yang siap digunakan di kelas untuk membekali kompetensi literasi saintifik siswa SMA dengan hasil respon akademik desain RPP berada pada kategori “sangat sesuai”, reading infusion dan LKPD pendekatan saintifik berada pada kategori kualitas “sangat baik. Instrumen kompetensi literasi saintifik melalui pengolahan CVI diperoleh hasil sebesar 0,52 yang menunjukkan instrumen “sesuai”. Hasil pengukuran validitas menunjukkan sebanyak 70% soal kompetensi literasi saintifik termasuk ke dalam rentang koefisien korelasi 0,40 -1,00 dengan validitas cukup hingga sangat tinggi, proporsi tingkat kesukaran soal belum normal, serta koefisien reliabilitas instrumen sebesar 0,89 dengan kategori reliabilitas sangat tinggi. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Literasi Saintifik; Pendekatan Saintifik; Reading Infusion ABSTRACT The aims of this study are to design reading infusion with scientific approach learning in energy and work materials and to get result of academic responses from this designs that have been made. This research was motivated by the new results of the 2018 PISA survey which showed that scientific literacy skills of Indonesian students were ranked 72 out of 78 participants. As an effort to improve students 'scientific literacy, learning is needed that can equip students' scientific literacy competencies. The research method used is design reasearch method. The instrument used as a data collection tool is RPP design response sheet by applying Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT), reading infusion response sheets, LKPD response sheets and scientific literacy competencies’s instruments that given to experts for their suitability and quality. Through processing mean and standard deviation of respondents to the RPP design, reading infusion and LKPD, the results showed that the level of suitability and quality of design. Conclusion of this study is, the design is suitable and ready for use in the classroom to train students' scientific literacy competencies and the result of academic response of design RPP was in the "very appropriate" category, reading infusion and the scientific approach LKPD were in "very good” quality. The scientific literacy competencies’s instrument through CVI processing obtained a result of 0.52 which indicates the instrument is "appropriate". Results of the validity measurement show that 70% questions of scientific literacy competence are included in the coefficient range of less than 0.40-1.00 with sufficient to very high validity, the proportion of the difficulty level of the questions is not yet normal, and the instrument reliability coefficient is 0.89 with very high reliability.
