Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena belum adanya evaluasi mengenai kelayakan media pembelajaran papan trainer instalasi penerangan listrik yang sudah lama digunakan pada mata pelajaran Dasar Instrumentasi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan media yang digunakan serta respon pengguna terhadap papan trainer instalasi penerangan listrik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan model pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu 2 orang guru sebagai ahli media serta 20 siswa kelas X Instrumentasi dan Otomatisasi Proses SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi yang telah menggunakan papan trainer instalasi penerangan listrik. Hasil pengujian terhadap kelayakan media yaitu 89% dari ahli media dikategorikan sangat layak serta 86% dari respon pengguna dikategorikan sangat layak. Maka dari itu papan trainer instalasi penerangan listrik layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran Dasar Instrumentasi. The background of this research is there was no evaluation of the feasibility of learning media for the electric lighting installation trainer board which has long been used in the Basic Instrumentation subject. The research purpose is to determine the feasibility level of the media used and the user's response to the electric lighting installation trainer board. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach model. The subjects of this study were 2 teachers as media experts and 20 grade X students of Instrumentation and Process Automation at SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi who had used electric lighting installation trainer boards. The feasibility testing result of the media by experts is 89% which is categorized as very feasible and by user responses is 86% which is categorized as very feasible. Therefore, the electric lighting installation trainer board is suitable for use as learning media for Basic Instrumentation subject.
