Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji literatur untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing (Guided Inquiry) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa jenjang SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah systematic review. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan buku-buku, jurnal-jurnal, skripsi ataupun tesis terkait untuk kemudian dibaca dan dikaji. Setelah data terkumpul, dilakukan mensintesis hasil penelitian terkait dengan teknik kuantitatif systematic review atau disebut meta-analisis untuk mengevaluasi data, pada akhirnya akan dianalisis dan interpretasikan. Adapun penggunaan teknik kualitatif systematic review disebut meta-sintesis untuk menggabungkan basis data kualitatif, diharapkan dapat menjawab pertanyaan permasalahan dan mendapatkan pemahaman baru tentang suatu permasalahan yang diangkat. Dari beberapa hasil penelitian yang relevan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode Inkuiri Terbimbing (Guided Inquiry) lebih efektif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dibandingkan dengan metode ceramah (konvensional). Hal ini terlihat dari adanya teori belajar yang mendukung metode pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing (Guided Inquiry) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bepikir kritis siswa. Kata Kunci : Metode Inkuiri Terbimbing (Guided Inquiry), Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low ability of students' critical thinking on economics. This is shown from the results of students' critical thinking skills tests. The purpose of this study is to examine the literature to determine the effect of Guided Inquiry learning methods on students' critical thinking skills. The subjects in this study were high school students. The method used in this research is systematic review. Data collection is done by collecting books, journals, theses or related theses for later reading and review. After the data is collected, it is synthesized research results related to quantitative systematic review techniques or so-called meta-analyzes to evaluate data, which will eventually be analyzed and interpreted. The use of a qualitative systematic review technique called meta-synthesis to combine qualitative databases is expected to be able to answer problem questions and get a new understanding of an issue raised. From some relevant research results show that the use of the Guided Inquiry method can more effectively improve critical thinking skills compared to the conventional method. This is evident from the existence of learning theories that support the method of guided inquiry learning can improve students' critical thinking abilities.
