Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh otoriter terhadap kecenderungan cyberbullying yang dimediasi oleh kecerdasan emosi pada remaja di kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan non-probability sampling. Sampel terdiri dari 341 remaja yang berada di kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen pola asuh otoriter (Cahyanuari, 2018) untuk mengukur pola asuh otoriter yang kemudian dibagi dua menjadi pola asuh ayah dan ibu, instrumen kecerdasan emosi (Jonta, 2018) untuk mengukur kecerdasan emosi, dan instrumen cyberbullying (Agustin, 2019) untuk mengukur cyberbullying. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosi menunjukkan hasil sig. 0,893 dan sig. 0,941 yang berarti, kecerdasan emosi secara signifikan tidak dapat memediasi pola asuh otoriter terhadap kecenderungan cyberbullying. Kata Kunci: Cyberbullying, Remaja, Kecerdasan Emosi, Pola Asuh Otoriter ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the influence of authoritarian parenting style to cyberbullying tendencies mediated by emotional intelligence in teenagers in the city of Bandung. This research uses a quantitative approach with regression analysis methods. The sampling techniques in this study used non-probability sampling. The samples consisted of 341 teenagers in the city of Bandung. The instrument used in this study is an authoritarian foster pattern instrument (Cahyanuari, 2018) to measure authoritarian foster patterns which are then divided into both father and mother foster patterns, emotional intelligence Instruments (Jonta, 2018) to measure emotional intelligence, and cyberbullying instruments (Agustin, 2019) to measure cyberbullying. The results showed that emotional intelligence showed the results of sig. 0.893 and sig. 0.941 which means, emotional intelligence was not significantly mediated by authoritative parenting style against cyberbullying tendencies.
