Abstract

Praktik Program Profesi adalah mata kuliah praktek akademik Prodi Arsitektur UPI dengan tujuan agar mahasiswa dapat menambah ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi melalui kegiatan kerja lapangan di industri atau perusahaan serta sarana mengembangkan penalaran tentang hubungan secara komperehensif antara pengetahuan bidang studi yang diperoleh dengan penerapan aktual di lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) mengetahui gambaran umum persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pelaksanaan Praktik Program Profesi Prodi Arsitektur UPI; (2) mengetahui gambaran umum kesiapan mahasiswa Prodi Arsitektur yang sudah melaksanakan praktik program profesi menghadapi mata kuliah Tugas Akhir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Responden penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Prodi Arsitekur angkatan tahun 2013 dan 2013 yang akan dan sedang mengontrak mata kuliah Tugas Akhir yang berjumlah 28 responden dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan penyebaran angket. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian yang telah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pelaksanaan Praktik Program Profesi memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 54,03% berada dalam kriteria jelas/paham. Adapun dengan rincian, faktor pemersepsi dengan presentase 54.76%, faktor situasi dengan presentase 52,98%, dan pada faktor sasaran dengan presentase 55.00%.----------Professional practice program is academic practice courses of Architecture UPI with the aim that students can add science and technology through field work activity in industry or company and also means to develop reasoning about relation comprehensively between knowledge of field study obtained with actual application in field. This study aims to determine (1) to know the general description of student perceptions of the implementation of Professional Practice Program Architecture UPI; (2) to know the general description of the readiness Architecture students which has implemented the professional practice program facing the final assignment. This research uses descriptive method by using quantitative approach. The respondents of this research are students of Architecture program class of 2013 and 2013 who will and are contracting the final assignment of 28 respondents with data collection technique using questionnaire. Based on the results of the assessment that has been done can be seen that the students' perceptions of the implementation of Professional Program Practice get a percentage of 54.03% are in the clear criteria / understand. As for the details, perception factors with percentage 54.76%, the situation with the percentage of 52.98%, and on the target factor with a percentage of 55.00%.
