Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melilhat kelayakan multimedia interaktif dengan menerapkan Cognitive Load Theory (CLT) yang dilaksanakan di SMK N 2 Bandung. Cognitive Load Theory (CLT) merupakan salah satu metode untuk mengurangi beban kognitf siswa yang biasanya terjadi jika siswa menemukan materi yang dianggap sulit seperti materi Open System Interconection (OSI) Layer. Untuk mengetahui kelayakan multimedia interaktif yang menerapkan CLT dilakukan pengujian oleh ahli media dan ahli materi menggunakan kuisioner yang dikembangkan berdasarkan LORI. Dari pengujian tersebut diperoleh hasil penilaian oleh ahli media sebesar 83 yang termasuk kedalam kategori sangat baik dan penilaian ahli materi sebesar 81 yang termasuk kedalam kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan dua nilai dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia interaktif dengan menerapkan Cognitive Load Theory (CLT) ini layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Nilai rata-rata pretest yang diperoleh sebesar 57,2, sedangkan nilai ratarata posttest sebesar 83,5. Data penelitian ini juga didukung dengan perolehan hasil angket respon siswa terhadap multimedia interaktif sebesar 81,76. Berdasarkan hasil angket respon siswa terhadap multimedia siswa menjadi semangat dan menambah pengetahuan dalam belajar dikarenakan adanya multimedia interaktif.---------This study aims to see the feasibility of interactive multimedia by implementing Cognitive Load Theory (CLT) conducted at Bandung N 2 Vocational School. Cognitive Load Theory (CLT) is one method to reduce students' cognitive burden which usually occurs if students find material that is considered difficult such as the Open System Interonection (OSI) Layer material. To find out the feasibility of interactive multimedia that implements CLT testing is carried out by media experts and material experts using questionnaires developed based on LORI. From the test, the results of the assessment by media experts amounted to 83 which fall into the very good category and the assessment of material experts by 81 which fall into the very good category. Based on the two values it can be concluded that interactive multimedia by applying Cognitive Load Theory (CLT) is feasible to use in learning. The average value of the pretest obtained was 57.2, while the average posttest value was 83.5. The research data is also supported by the acquisition of student response questionnaires to interactive multimedia at 81.76. Based on the results of student questionnaire responses to multimedia students become enthusiastic and increase knowledge in learning due to the presence of interactive multimedia.
