Abstract
Artikel ini berjudul Modél Pangajaran Kooperatif Tipe Round Table pikeun Ngaronjatkeun Kamampuh Maca Artikel di tulis oleh Nessy Anugrawati yang beralamat di Kp. Ciputri Rt 01/ Rw 05 Kel. Cigugur Tengah Kec. Cimahi Tengah Kota Cimahi merupakan Mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Daerah UPI Bandung, alamat e-mail Nessy1990@gmail.com. Kemampuan siswa dalam membaca pemahaman artikel tergolong rendah, siswa cenderung hanya membaca tanpa memahami isi dari artikel yang dibacanya. Selain itu, selama ini proses pembelajaran bahasa Sunda di kelas masih mengunakan paradigma yang lama dimana guru memberikan pengetahuan kepada siswa yang pasif, yaitu dengan hanya menyuruh siswa membaca kemudian mengisi pertanyaan. Masalah tersebut merupakan salah satu masalah yang sering terjadi di SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Tujuan utama dari PTK adalah untuk memberdayakan guru yang bersangkutan agar mampu mengadakan perbaikan dan pembaharuan dalam menangani permasalahan yang terjadi di kelasnya sendiri dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi, yaitu mulai dari pra-penelitian, siklus I, dan II yang dilakukan di kelas XII-IPS maka hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah pelaksanaan penerapan modél pembelajaran round table dalam pembelajaran bahasa Sunda telah mampu meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca artikel dengan memenuhi KKM yaitu 75. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bisa disimpulkan bahwa modél pembelajaran round table bisa menciptakan suasana belajar yang PAKEM (Pembelajaran Aktif, Kreatif, Efektif, dan Menyenangkan). Students' ability in reading article comprehension is low, students tend to just read without understanding the contents of the articles they read. In addition, during this learning process in the Sundanese classroom still using the old paradigm where teachers impart knowledge to students who are passive, by just having students read and then fill out a questionnaire. This is one of the problems that often occur in high school. The method used in this study is classroom action research (CAR). The main goal of CAR is to empower the teacher to be able to conduct the repair and renewal in addressing the issues raised in its own class in the learning process. Based on the observation, field notes, and documentation, start from the pre-study, cycle I, and II were conducted in class XII-IPS then the research results obtained by the application of the model is the implementation of the model of learning round table in the Sundanese language learning has been able to improve the ability of students in reading the article by fulfilled 75 KKM meeting. Based on the results it can be concluded that the model of learning round table can create a learning environment that ACEF (Active, Creative, Effective, and Fun).
