Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini dilakukan karena mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMP Nasional Bandung khususnya kelas VIII, dari hasil evaluasi belajar harian dan tengah semester masih banyak nilai siswa di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Ada kemungkinan rendahnya nilai kompetensi siswa di sebabkan oleh strategi penyampaian pelajaran yang kurang tepat. Dalam hal ini guru mungkin kurang memanfaatkan sumber belajar secara optimal. Agar siswa bisa menyerap materi pembelajaran secara optimal, maka perlu adanya suatu penunjang dalam pembelajaran. Penunjang tersebut adalah media pembelajaran. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini Untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media flash card model kuartet terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI. Selanjutnya, metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif pendekatan kuantitatif dalam bentuk desain eksperimen. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada kelas eksperimen yaitu sebesar 9,29 dan kelas kontrol meningkat sebesar 6,71 setelah dilakukan treatment dengan menggunakan media flash card model permainan kuartet. Hasil uji hipotesis di atas, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Dengan kata lain, media pembelajaran model permainan kuartet efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi ibadah kelas VIII, terutama dalam bab Salat Sunnah. ----- The background of this research is because the subjects of Islamic Education (PAI) in Bandung National Middle School, especially class VIII, from the results of daily and midterm learning evaluations there are still many scores of students under the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). There is a possibility that the low value of student competency is caused by the strategy of delivering inappropriate lessons. In this case the teacher may not use learning resources optimally. In order for students to absorb learning material optimally, it is necessary to have a support in learning. These supports are learning media. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using quartet flash card models on improving student learning outcomes on PAI subjects. Furthermore, the method used is a descriptive method of quantitative approach in the form of experimental design. Hypothesis test results show that there is a significant increase in the experimental class which is equal to 9.29 and the control class increases by 6.71 after treatment using quartet game flash card media. The results of the hypothesis test above, indicate that there are significant differences between the average learning outcomes of experimental and control class students. In other words, learning media quartet game models are effective in improving student learning outcomes in class VIII worship materials, especially in the Sunnah Prayer chapter.
