Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya angka penyandang disabilitas, khususnya pada anak usia sekolah sudah selayaknya menjadi pertimbangan dalam usaha pemenuhan kebutuhan pendidikan. Penyandang disabilitas mempunyai hak untuk belajar dan salah satu hal yang berpengaruh pada berjalannya proses belajar mengajar yaitu prasarana. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi prasarana disabilitas di Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Tamansari. Setelah kondisi prasarana didapat lalu kondisi prasarana dibandingkan dengan mengacu pada standar prasarana yang sudah ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan cara mendeskripsikan kondisi eksisting yang dibandingkan dengan standar, deskripsi tersebut berisi tentang prasarana disabilitas di Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Tamansari Kota Tasikmalaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Prasarana yang terdapat di Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Tamansari seperti halnya dari 8 koridor, terdapat 2 koridor yang kurang sesuai dan 6 koridor yang tidak sesuai, sedangkan dari 11 ramp, terdapat 5 ramp yang tidak sesuai, 1 ramp cukup sesuai , 4 ramp sesuai, dan 1 ramp kurang sesuai, terdapat 5 tangga, terdapat 1 tangga kurang sesuai, dan 4 tangga tidak sesuai, terdapat 8 type pintu yang berbeda, sedangkan 6 pintu cukup sesuai, dan 2 pintu sudah sesuai, toilet yang digunakan tidak ada yang ramah terhadap pengguna kursi roda dan penyandang disabilitas, dari 3 toilet, wastafel dan tempat wudhu, semua tidak sesuai, dan kondisi rambu dan marka tidak sesuai dengan standar.----------This research was motivated by the high number of persons with disabilities, especially in school-age children which should be taken into consideration in efforts to fulfill educational needs. Persons with disabilities also have the right to learn, and one of the things that affects the course of the teaching and learning process is infrastructure. This study aimed to determine the condition of disability infrastructure at Tamansari State Special School. After the condition of the infrastructure was obtained, then the condition of the infrastructure was compared with referring to the existing infrastructure standards. This study used a descriptive qualitative method by describing the existing conditions compared to the standard, the description contains the disability infrastructure at Tamansari State Special School in Tasikmalaya City. The results of the study showed that the infrastructure found in Tamansari State Special Schools as follow : from 8 corridors, there are 2 corridors are less suitable and 6 corridors are not suitable. While, from 11 ramps, there are 5 unsuitable ramps, 1 ramp is quite suitable, 4 ramps are suitable, and 1 ramp is less suitable. In addition, from 5 stairs, there is 1 less suitable stair, and 4 stairs are not suitable. Moreover, there are 8 different types of doors, while 6 doors are quite suitable, and 2 doors are already suitable. However, there are no toilets used that are friendly to wheelchair users and people with disabilities, from 3 toilets, washbasins and ablutions, all are not suitable, and the signs and markers are not in accordance with the standards.
