Abstract

Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan memiliki peran strategis dalam membina remaja di era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji dan menganalisis; pengetahuan digital (digital knowledge), keterampilan digital (digital skill), etika digital (digital ettiquete), dan kebiasaan digital (digital habbit) remaja sebagai dasar pengembangan model hipotetik Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam pembinaan remaja di era digital. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan campuran (mix method design) dengan metode survey dan menggunakan strategi embedded konkruen. Lokasi penelitian terletak di Kota Bandung dengan objek penelitian antara lain; siswa SMP, guru dan pakar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Adapun teknik pengambilan data menggunakan angket dan wawancara kepada siswa SMP di Kota Bandung dengan sampel 480 orang serta observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dengan weight menas score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; (1) pengetahuan digital (digital knowledge) remaja berada pada kategori sedang, namun bidang politik berada pada kategori sangat rendah dibandingkan bidang ekonomi dan budaya, (2) keterampilan digital (digital skill) siswa berada pada kategori sedang, namun kemampuan akses, keterampilan memahami informasi digital, keterampilan komunikasi digital, dan keterampilan memahami implikasi teknologi digital terhadap kesehatan berada pada kategori sedang, (3) etika digital (digital ettiquete), berada pada kategori sedang, namun remaja belum mampu menerima perbedaan yang ada, (4) kebiasaan digital (digital habbit) remaja baik berada dalam kategori tinggi, dan (5) model pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam membina remaja yang cerdas dan berkeadaban di era digital perlu revitalisasi kurikulum PKn dengan memperhatikan situasi, kondisi, tantangan, dan kebutuhan zaman dengan memperhatikan prinsip relevansi, fleksibilitas, kontinuitas, efisiensi, efektivitas.; Civic Education has a strategic role in fostering youth in the digital age. This research aims to study and analyze; digital knowledge, digital skills, digital ethics, and digital habits of teenagers as the basis for developing hypothetical models of Civic Education in adolescent coaching in the digital age. The study was conducted using a mixed approach (mix design method) with a survey method and using embedded konkruen design strategies. This research was conducted in Bandung City and the objects were junior high school students, teachers, and Civic Education experts. The data collection techniques used questionnaires and interviews with junior high school students in the Bandung City with the sample size 480 people and observation and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive statistics with weight means score. The results of the study shows; (1) digital knowledge of adolescents is in the medium category, but the political field is in the very low category compared to the economic and cultural fields, (2) students’ digital skills are in the medium category, but access ability, understanding digital information skills, digital communication skills, and the ability to understand the implications of digital technology on health are in the moderate category, (3) digital ethics are in the medium category, but adolescents have not been able to accept the differences, (4) digital habits adolescents are all in the high category, and (5) the model of civic education in fostering smart and equitable adolescents in the digital era need to revitalize the Civics curriculum by taking into account the situation, conditions, challenges, and the needs of the times by paying attention to the principles of relevance, flexibility, continuity, efficiency, effectiveness.
