Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kinerja organisasi perguruan tinggi negeri (PTN) di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dengan melihat penjaminan mutu internal, kepemimpinan mutu, komitmen mutu dan budaya mutu sebagai variabel independennya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi untuk melihat pengaruh antara variabel eksogen dengan endogen dengan menggunakan program SPSS dan Amos. Penelitian ini dapat dikategorikan survey dengan sampel sebesar 155 responden yang berasal dari lima PTN di Bangka Belitung (UBB, IAIN SAS Babel, Polman Babel, Poltekes Pangkalpinang dan Akper Pemkab Belitung). Hasil analisis deskriptif penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kinerja organisasi, penjaminan mutu internal, kepemimpinan mutu, dan budaya mutu berada pada kategori sedang, sedangkan rata-rata komitmen mutu pegawai berada pada kategori tinggi..Adapun hasil analisis inferesial menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penjaminan mutu internal, kepemimpinan mutu, komitmen mutu dan budaya mutu baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama-sama terhadap kinerja organisasi (KOR).Selanjutnya komitmen mutu berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi melalui variabel penjaminan mutu internal dan budaya mutu.Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian tersebut untuk dapat meningkatkan kinerja organisasi, lembaga perguruan tinggi perlu melakukan optimalisasi penjaminan mutu internal, orientasi pemimpin terhadap mutu, komitmen civitas akademika terhadap mutu serta membangun budaya mutu yang lebih baik.; This study was aimed to explore the performance of state higher education institutes (PTN) in Bangka Belitung Islands Province by focusing on internal quality assurance, quality leadership, quality commitment and quality culture as the independent variables (predictor variables). This study used quantitative approach with regression analysis technique and factor analysis to find out the influence between exogenous and endogenous variables by using SPSS and Amos program. This study can be categorized as survey with 155 respondents from five public colleges and universities in Bangka Belitung (UBB, IAIN SAS Babel, Polman Babel, Poltekes Pangkalpinang and Akper Pemkab Belitung). The descriptive analysis of study showed that the average of organization performance, internal quality assurance, quality leadership, and quality culture were in medium category, while the average commitment of employee quality was in high category. The result of inferential analysis showed that there was a significant influence between internal quality assurance, quality leadership, quality commitment and quality culture both individually and collectively to organizational performance. Furthermore, quality commitment had a significant effect on organizational performance through internal quality assurance variable and quality culture. Based on the result of the study, to improve organizational performance,the state higher education institutes need to optimize their internal quality assurance, leader's orientation toward quality, academic civitas commitment to quality and build better quality culture.
