Abstract

ABSTRAK Lilis Anisyah (0800925). Hubungan Antara Motivasi Berprestasi dengan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif pada Remaja (Studi Korelasional pada Siswa Kelas XI Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 6 Bandung). Skripsi. Jurusan Psikologi Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Bandung 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 6 Bandung dengan sampel sebanyak 80 orang siswa yang berusia 15 hingga 18 tahun. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu teknik purposive sampling. Pada penelitian ini disebarkan kuesioner motivasi berprestasi dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif sebagai alat pengumpul data. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi Spearman’s Rank, dan didapatkan hasil bahwa koefisien korelasi antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif sebesar 0,475 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05). Berdasarkan hal itu, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan korelasi positif yang signifikan dengan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Ini berarti bahwa semakin tinggi motivasi berprestasi pada diri remaja maka semakin tinggi pula kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang dimilikinya. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah motivasi berprestasi pada diri remaja maka semakin rendah pula kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang dimilikinya. kata kunci: motivasi berprestasi, kemampuan berpikir kreatif ABSTRACT Lilis Anisyah (0800925). The Relationship Between Achievement Motivation and Creative Thinking Ability in Adolescents (Correlational studies in Grade XI High School District 6 Bandung). Thesis. This study aimed at determining the relationship between achievement motivation with the creative thinking ability. The research was done in class XI High School District 6 Bandung with a sample of 80 students aged 15 to 18 years. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique. In this study, distributed questionnaires achievement motivation and creative thinking ability as a means of collecting data. Hypothesis testing was done by using Spearman's rank correlation, and showed that the correlation coefficient between achievement motivation with the creative thinking ability at 0.475 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). Accordingly, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive correlation between achievement motivation with the creative thinking ability. This means that the higher achievement motivation in adolescents, the higher its creative thinking ability. Conversely, the lower the achievement motivation in adolescents the lower they have the creative thinking ability. keywords: achievement motivation, creative thinking ability
