    Abstract

    Penelitian ini berjudul Pelatihan Seni Rapa’i Geleng Pada Unit Kebudayaan Aceh Institut Teknologi Bandung dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui proses pelatihan dan proses perkembangan seni tradisional Aceh yang berada di Kota Bandung, serta mengungkapkan nilai yang terkandung didalamnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpula data terdiri dari: observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui strategi dalam pelatihan, konsep perubahan serta hasil pelatihan. Hasil dari penelitian adanya perubahan yang terjadi pada seni Rapa’i Geleng UKA-ITB yaitu pada struktur pertunjukan, melodi dan syair. Tidak ada konsep tertentu yang melandasi proses perubahan seni Rapa’i Geleng tersebut.
    This research entitled Training of Rapa'i Geleng Art at Unit Kebudayaan Aceh Institut Teknologi Bandung is intended to find out the training and development process of Acehnese Tradisional Art in Bandung City, and revealing any value inside it. This research used descriptive method and qualitative approach. Data collecting techniques including: observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. The findings are knowing the training strategy, changing concept, and the training result itself. The result of this research found there is change happen to Rapa’i Geleng UKA-ITB in the show structure, melody, and poetry. There is no relatable concept which affecting the change of that art.
