Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh harapan terhadap
kualitas hidup, penerimaan diri terhadap kualitas hidup, serta harapan dan
penerimaan diri secara bersama-sama terhadap kualitas hidup individu
dengan infertilitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode
kuantitatif dengan partisipan sebanyak 63 orang dengan beberapa kriteria,
yaitu berusia minimal 20 tahun, telah menikah, belum pernah hamil, tidak
menggunakan alat kontrasepsi dan rutin berhubungan seksual selama 2-3
kali seminggu secara teratur. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian
ini adalah adaptasi dari instrumen The Adult Trait Hope Scale (Snyder,
2000) untuk mengukur harapan, adaptasi dari Unconditional Self-
Acceptance Questionnaire (Chamberlain & Haaga, 2001) untuk
mengukur penerimaan diri, dan adaptasi dari Fertility Quality of Life
(Boivin, 2011) untuk mengukur kualitas hidup. Ketiga instrumen telah
dialihbahasakan oleh ahli. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan adalah
regresi linear dan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
1) terdapat pengaruh signifikan harapan terhadap kualitas hidup; 2) terdapat pengaruh signifikan penerimaan diri terhadap kualitas hidup; 3) terdapat pengaruh signifikan harapan dan penerimaan diri secara bersama-sama memiliki kontribusi sebesar 61,5% terhadap kualitas
hidup.

This study aims to discover the effect of hope towards quality of life, self acceptance towards quality of life, also both hope and self acceptance towards quality of life of infertile adults. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with 63 participants with several criterias, who are; over 20 years old, married, never pregnant, not using any kind of contraception, and doing sexual intercourse 2-3 times a week. There are three different instruments used in this study, an adaptation from The Adult Trait Hope Scale (Snyder, 2000) to measure hope, an adaptation from Unconditional Self-Acceptance Questionnaire (Chamberlain & Haaga, 2001) to measure self acceptance, and an adaptation from Fertility Quality of Life (Boivin, 2011) to measure quality of life. All the instruments are translated into Bahasa by an expert. Data analysis techniques in this study are linear regression and multiple regression. The results of this study show that 1) there is signifficant effect of hope towards quality of life; 2) there is signifficant effect of self acceptance towards quality of life; 3) there is signifficant effect of both hope and self acceptance towards quality of life with 61,5% worth of contribution.
