Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul Modél The Learning Cell dina Pangajaran Maca Biografi (Studi Kuasi Ékspérimén ka Siswa Kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 13 Bandung Taun Ajaran 2012/2013). Dalam penelitian ini dibahas tentang kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa pada materi membaca biografi di kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 13 Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perubahan kemampuan membaca pemahaman biografi siswa kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 13 Bandung setelah menggunakan Model Pembelajaran The Learning Cell dan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar perubahannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen, sedangkan tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tehnik tes yaitu bentuk tes objektif pilihan ganda dengan empat pilihan jawaban. Instrumen penelitian digunakan setelah diuji validitas dengan persamaan product moment dan diperoleh soal instrumen penelitian semuanya valid dengan jumlah 20 butir soal. Sedangkan uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Kuder Richardson (KR 20) diperoleh hasil r = 0,7387 yang artinya data tersebut reliabel. Untuk menganalisis secara deskriptif rata-rata hasil penelitian dibandingkan dengan kurva normal ideal, sedangkan secara komparatif dengan uji – t, sebelum uji t terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji persyaratan analisis yang meliputi uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar membaca pemahaman biografi sebelum menggunakan Modél Pembelajaran The Learning Cell yaitu (65,34) belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal sedangkan setelah menggunakan Model Pembelajaran The Learning Cell yaitu (84,65) sudah mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal yaitu (75). Setelah dianalisis menggunakan data statistik uji t diperoleh harga t hitung = 11,8035 > -2,42. Dengan demikian Model PembelajaranThe Learning Cell dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar membaca pemahaman siswa kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 13 Bandung. Kata Kunci : Model The Learning Cell, Membaca, Biografi Abstract This thesis is tittled the learning cell model in reading biography learn ( Quation experiment study to student of XI IPA 2 class SMA Negeri 13 Bandung 2012/2013 year academic). In this research told about student capability of reading comprehension into read biography material at XI IPA 2 class of SMA Negeri 13 Bandung. Intention of this research is to know the whereabouts capability change to read biography comprehension of the student at class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 13 Bandung after use the learning cell model and to know how far the changes. Research methods that used is quation experiment method, while data collection technique that used is test technique namely objective multiple choice test form with four options answer. Research instrumen is used after validity tested with equality product moment and acquired all the research instrument questions are valid with total 20 questions. To analyze descriptively the average of result research are compared to the ideal normal curve, while comparatively with t- test, before the t– test did analyze requirements test that covered normatility test and homogenity test. According to research result known that average of biography reading comprehension study result before use the learning cell model is (65,34) not yet reach minimum comprehensiveness criteria while after use the learning cell model is (84,65) reach minimum comprehensiveness criteria is (75). After analyze use t – test statistic data acquired t count prize = 11,8035 > -2,42. Thus, the learning cell model could increase result study of student comprehension read XI IPA 2 class SMA Negeri 13 Bandung. Keyword : model The Learning Cell, Reading, Biography
