Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas layanan berbasis web menjadi suatu upaya yang perlu dilakukan secara berkesinambungan, tidak terkecuali bagi perpustakaan perguruan tinggi. Untuk mengetahui sejauh mana layanan website (situs web) perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dapat diterima oleh pemustaka, maka diperlukan penelitian untuk mengukur kualitas situs web berdasarkan kepuasan pemustaka. Penelitian ini mengukur kualitas situs web Perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri Bandung (POLBAN) yaitu elib.polban.ac.id dengan menggunakan metode WebQual 4.0 yang didasari oleh persepsi pengguna akhir. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan metode WebQual 4.0 pada web Perpustakaan di Perpustakaan POLBAN, untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan metode WebQual 4.0 dalam dimensi Usability (Kegunaan), Information Quality (Kualitas Informasi), dan Service Interaction Quality (Kualitas Pelayanan Interaksi) pada web Perpustakaan di Perpustakaan POLBAN. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa POLBAN dengan sampel yang dintentukan melalui teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket dengan menggunakan skala Likert yang dianalisis dengan studi deskriptif dan t test one sample. Selain itu dilakukan wawancara dan observasi guna mendukung analisis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode WebQual 4.0 pada Web Perpustakaan POLBAN yaitu elib.polban.ac.id berada dalam kualitas “good” (baik) dan diperlukan steady maintenance (pemeliharaan yang stabil) baik dari dimensi Usability, Information Quality, dan Service Interaction Quality. ;--- Improving the quality of web-based services is an effort that needs to be carried out on a sustainably, not least for college libraries. To find out how far the university library website services can be accepted by users, it is necessary to conduct research to measure the quality of websites based on user satisfaction. This study measures the quality of the Bandung State Polytechnic Library website (POLBAN), the websites is elib.polban.ac.id using the WebQual 4.0 method based on the perception of the end user. The purpose of this study was to describe the use of WebQual 4.0 method on the Library web in the POLBAN Library, to describe the use of WebQual 4.0 methods in Usability dimensions, Information Quality, and Service Interaction Quality on the Library web. in the POLBAN Library. This research uses descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were POLBAN students with samples determined through the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The instruments used were questionnaires using a Likert scale which were analyzed by descriptive studies and t test one sample. In addition, interviews and observations were conducted to support the analysis. The results of this study indicate that the use of the WebQual 4.0 method on the POLBAN Library Web that is elib.polban.ac.id is in the "good" quality and requires steady maintenance of both Usability, Information Quality, and Service Interaction Quality.
