Abstract
Proses pendidikan dan pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru PAI merupakan latar belakang penelitian ini. Hal ini dikarenakan guru PAI memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas peserta didik. Dalam prosesnya guru harus memberikan kinerja yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan di lapangan agar peserta didik merasa puas akan hadirnya guru PAI. Selain itu memberikan penampilan yang menarik serta menjadi teladan merupakan salah satu poin penting sebagai seorang guru PAI agar terciptanya sosok figur yang akan diteladani serta terhindarnya dari degradasi moral dan penyimpangan sosial lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kepuasan peserta didik terhadap kinerja guru PAI yang meliputi (1) kompetensi pedagogik, (2) kompetensi kepribadian, (3) kompetensi sosial, dan (4) kompetensi profesional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara survei. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri kelas XI MIA di 3 SMA Negeri Kabupaten Indramayu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, secara umum kepuasan peserta didik terhadap kinerja guru PAI mencapai pada nilai 87% artinya bahwa peserta didik sudah puas terhadap kinerja guru PAI dalam proses pembelajaran. Dari hasil tersebut disimpulkan bahwa guru PAI sudah mampu menerapkan apa yang tercantum dalam UU Nomor 14 Tahun 2005 tentang Guru dan Dosen serta memberikan proses pendidikan dan pembelajaran secara kompeten;--- Educaton and learning process conducted by Islamic religious teachers is the background of this research. Because Islamic religious teacher have important role to increase students quality. On the process, teachers have to give perfomance to fulfill students on the field to get students satisfaction with Islamic religious teacher presents. Beside of that, give good grooming and being good figure that’s one of important things as islamic religious teacher to be example to avoid moral degradation and social abberations. The main purpose of this reasearch is to know and analyzing students satisfaction with islamic religious students which includes (1) pedagogic competence, (2) personality competence, (3) social competence, and (4) professional competence. This reasearch use quantitative approach and descriptve method. Data collection technique by survey. This research is conducted at 3 Senior High School XI Science Class in Indramayu district. Based on result of research, generally students satisfaction with islamic religious teacher reaches at 87%, that means the student get satisfied with islamic religous teacher performance. From that result can be concluded the islamic religious teachers could apply what is writed in the law number 14 of 2005 about Teachers and Lectures and to give education and learning process competently.
