    Abstract

    Karyawan yang bekerja di sebuah industri perhotelan, tentu memiliki motivasi dalam bekerja. Motivasi karyawan sendiri sangat berguna bagi seorang karyawan dalam melakukan dan menikmati pekerjaan mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi faktor motivasi kerja karyawan Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel, yang di lain sisi masih seringkali mengalami proses pergantian karyawan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah dengan mendistribusikan 200 kuisioner yang masing-masing terdiri dari 24 pertanyaan ke 200 orang karyawan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis faktor. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat empat faktor motivasi kerja karyawan Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel yaitu faktor aktualisasi diri, faktor kemampuan, faktor supervisi, dan faktor status. Saran dalam penelitian ini adalah rutinnya mengadakan training bagi para karyawan dalam rangka mengembangkan kemampuan, menyarankan para leader untuk selalu mempertahankan jiwa leadership dan friendly, serta selalu rutin mengadakan promosi kerja.

    Employees who have worked in a hotel industry, certainly have the motivation to work. Employee’s motivation itself is very useful for an employee in doing and enjoying their work. The purpose of this study is to identify the work motivation factors of Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel employees, who on the other hand often has employee turnover processes. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing 200 questionnaires, each consisting of 24 questions to 200 employees. Data analysis techniques using factor analysis techniques. The results of this study are four work motivation factors for employees of the Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel, namely self-actualization factor, ability factor, supervision factor, and status factor. The suggestions in this research are routine training for employees in order to develop skills, suggesting leaders to always maintain leadership and friendly spirit, and always hold work promotions.
