    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari data empiris properti psikometri dari
    model pengukuran verbal aggressiveness scale unidimensional oleh
    (Infante & Wigley, 1986) dan multidimensional (Levine et al., 2004).
    Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif. Alat ukur yang
    digunakan yaitu kuesioner verbal aggressiveness scale yang telah di
    alih bahasakan dan kemudian dilakukan uji validitas konstruk dan
    reliabilitas pada model pengukuran tersebut. Teknik analisis data yang
    digunakan adalah teknik analisis faktor konfirmatori dan reliabilitas
    alpha dengan bantuan oleh software SPSS 21 dan Lisrel. Hasil analisis
    data menunjukkan model pengukuran verbal aggressiveness scale
    multidimensional merupakan model yang lebih baik dibandingkan
    unidimensional .

    ;---This study aimed to gather an emperical data of psychometric property
    of Verbal Aggression Scale undimensional model by (Infante &
    Wigley, 1986) and multidimensonal model by (Levine et al., 2004).
    This research was conducted by using quantitative method. Instrument
    used in this research is Verbal Aggression Scale (VAS) which has been
    translated then tested for its construct validity dan reliability. This
    research uses confirmatory factor analysis and Alpha reliability
    technique aided by software SPSS 21 and Lisrel. Result show that
    Verbal Aggression Scale multidimensional model were a better model
    than the uniimensional model.
