    Abstract

    Keingintahuan adalah sikap dan perbuatan manusia dalam mengenal dan mengalami pengetahuan secara mendalam untuk menghilangkan ketidakpahaman. Penelitian didasarkan padakurangnya keingintahuan peserta didik SMA khususnya pada bidang belajar. Pengembangan keingintahuan dilakukan dengan cara memberikan layanan bimbingan belajar kepada peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran empirik tentang keingintahuan peserta didik SMA dan program bimbingan belajar berdasarkan profil keingintahuan yang layak diterapkan menurut pakar dan praktisi bimbingan dan konseling. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran keingintahuan peserta didik. Penelitian dilakukan kepada 372 peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) sebagian besar peserta didik memiliki keingintahuan pada kategori sedang; (2) berdasarkan kondisi keingintahuan peserta didik yang diperoleh maka disusun program bimbingan belajar. Rekomendasi penelitian ditujukan kepada pihak sekolah untuk memfasilitasi pelaksanaan program bimbingan belajar, kepada guru bimbingan dan konseling agar dapat mengimplementasikan program bimbingan belajar, serta kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk dapat melakukan penelitian pada responden seluruh tingkatan kelas di SMA dan mengungkap faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi dan memiliki hubungan dengan keingintahuan;---Curiosity is an attitude and human behavior in identify and experience knowledge thoroughly to obliterate incomprehension. Curiosity development is achieved by giving an academic guidance toward the students. The aim of this study is to achieve an empirical image about senior high student’s curiosity and academic guidance based on curiosity profile which is worth applying for according to an expert and guidance counseling’s practitioner. The study is using quantitative approach with descriptive method to describe the image of student’s curiosity. The study is conducted toward 372 students of SMA Negeri 10 Bandung grade XI year 2018/2019. The result of this study shows (1) most of the students have curiosity in middle category level; (2) based on the student’s curiosity condition’s achieved the academic guidance program is arranged. The study recommendation is dedicated to the school to facilitate an academic guidance program, so that the guidance and counseling teacher can implement it, and to the next researcher in the hope to do the study towards the entire senior high school grades and reveal some factors that affect and have correlation with curiosity.
