Abstract
Penelitianinidilatarbelakangiberdasarkan observasidanpengalaman penulis melihatorang-orang yang didasarioleh minat yang rendah dan kurangnya informasi prodi yang di dapat berdampak untuk kedepannyabaikuntukhasilbelajarnyamaupununtukaktifitaskesehariannyadalamperkuliahan.Penelitianinibertujuanuntukmemberikangambaranminatmahasiswaangkatan 2018 memilih program studipendidikanteknikbangunan DPTS FPTK UPI dilihatdarisetelahmasuk yang diukurdariaspek rasa tertarik, danperhatiandan juga dilihatdarisebelummasuk yang diukurdariaspeksumberinformasidanlatarbelakangkeluarga. Penelitianinimenggunakanmetodepenelitiananalisisdeskriptifdenganpendekatankuantitatif.Instrumenpengumpulan data berupakuesionerdenganrincian 36 butirpernyataan.Sampelpenelitianberjumlah 69 mahasiswaangkatan 2018 prodi PTB.HasilanalisismenemukanbahwaGambaranminatmahasiswaangkatan 2018 setelahmasukprodi PTB dilihatdarifaktor internalaspek rasa tertarikdanperhatianberadapadakategoricukuptinggi.Gambaranminatmahasiswaangkatan 2018 sebelummasukprodi PTB dilihatdarifaktoreksternalaspeksumberinformasi, danlatarbelakangkeluargaberadapadakategoricukuprendah, inidiakibatkankarenabanyakmahasiswaangkatan 2018 yang kurangmendapatkaninformasiterkaitprodi PTB ataupunada yang salahmemilihjurusan. Gambaranminatmahasiswaangkatan 2018 memilihprodi PTB secaraumumdilihatdarisetelahmasukdansebelummasuk yang di ukurberdasarkanaspek rasa tertarik, perhatian, sumberinformasi, danlatarbelakangkeluarga yang mendapatkanpresetasetertinggidanterbanyakberadapadakategorisedang, namununtukkategorirendahpuncukupbanyakhalinimenunjukkanbahwatidaksemuamahasiswaangkatan 2018 Prodi PTB didasariolehadanyaminatuntukmemilih Program StudiPendidikanTeknikBangunan;---This research is based on observations and the author's experience of seeing people based on low interest and lack of information on study programs which can have an impact for the future both for their learning outcomes and for their daily activities in lectures. This study aims to provide an overview of the interest of 2018 students in choosing the building engineering education study program DPTS FPTK UPI seen from the entrance and measured from the aspect of interest, and attention and also seen from before entering as measured by aspects of information sources and family background. This study uses descriptive analysis research methods with quantitative approaches. The instrument of data collection in the form of a questionnaire with details of 36 items statement. The research sample consisted of 69 students in 2018 PTB study program. The results of the analysis found that the description of students' interest in 2018 after entering the PTB study program was seen from the internal factors, the aspects of interest and attention were in the fairly high category. The description of students' interest in 2018 before entering PTB study program is seen from the external aspect of the information source, and the family background is in a fairly low category, this is due to the fact that many 2018 students lack information regarding PTB study programs or those who choose the wrong direction. The description of the interest of 2018 students in choosing PTB study programs in general was seen from after entering and before entering which was measured based on aspects of interest, attention, information sources, and family backgrounds that received the highest presetase and the most were in the moderate category, but for the low category a lot of this shows that not all 2018 batches of PTB Study Program are based on the interest to choose the Building Engineering Education Study Program.
