Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penyesuaian diri mahasiswa terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan alat ukur Student Adaptation to College Questionare (SACQ) untuk mengetahui gambaran penyesuaian diri di perguruan tinggi dan nilai IPK sebagai alat ukur prestasi akademik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan angkatan 2017, yang berjumlah 70 mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan persentase, dan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penyesuaian diri mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan angkatan 2017 termasuk dalam kategori cukup baik. Prestasi akademik mahasiswa termasuk dalam kategori baik sekali. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari penyesuaian diri mahasiswa tehadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa;---This study aims to determine whether there is a significant effect of student adjustment to the academic achievement of students in the Building Engineering Education Study Program. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach by using a measurement tool for Student Adaptation to College Questionare (SACQ) to determine the picture of self-adjustment in higher education and the GPA as a measure of academic achievement. The population in this study were all 2017 students of the Building Engineering Education Study Program, amounting to 70 students. Data analysis techniques use percentages, and simple regression. The results of the study showed that the 2017 adjustment of the Building Engineering Education Study Program students was included in the goodenough category. Student academic achievement is included in the excellent category. Based on the hypothesis test it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of student adjustment on student academic achievement.
