Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) multimoda representasi pada pembelajaran Kingdom Animalia, khususnya materi Invertebrata di SMA dalam meningkatkan keterampilan klasifikasi dan penguasaan konsep siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan model non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 67 orang, terdiri dari 35 siswa kelas X IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 32 siswa kelas X IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Perlakuan yang diberikan pada kelas eksperimen adalah pemberian LKPD berbasis multimoda representasi, sementara kelas kontrolnya adalah kelas yang menggunakan LKPD yang biasa digunakan di sekolah yang bersumber dari buku paket. Respon siswa selama pembelajaran dijaring melalui angket berdasarkan skala Likert yang diberikan di akhir pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan LKPD multimoda representasi efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan klasifikasi dan penguasaan konsep siswa. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis secara statistik, didapatkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dari nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol pada pencapaian nilai keterampilan klasifikasi (α=0,032) dan penguasaan konsep (α=0,001). Respon siswa terhadap penggunaan LKPD multimoda representasi dalam pembelajaran Animalia dinyatakan positif. Secara keseluruhan, 80,1% siswa memberikan respon persetujuan bahwa LKPD multimoda representasi yang digunakan dapat memudahkan siswa dalam kegiatan klasifikasi selama proses pembelajaran Animalia.;---The purpose of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of the use of worksheet multimodal representation on learning Kingdom Animalia, especially Invertebrate subject in high school in increase classification skills and mastery of student concepts. The research method used is quasi experiment with non-equivalent control group design. The sample of subject was 67 students, consisted of 35 students of class X IPA 1 as experimental class and 32 students of class X IPA 3 as control class. The treatment given to the experimental class is the worksheet based on multimodal representation, while the control class uses worksheet commonly used in schools that are sourced from books. Student responses during learning are taken through the questionnaire based on Likert scale that given at the end of the lesson. The results indicate that the use of worksheet multimodal representation is effectively to increase the classification skill and mastery of student concepts. Based on the results of hypothesis test statistically, it was found that there is a significant difference from the mean value of posttest experimental class with the control class on the achievement of skill classification (α = 0,032) and mastery of concept (α = 0,001). Student response to the use of worksheet multimodal representation in learning Animalia expressed positive. Overall, 80,1% of students responded that the worksheet multimodal representation could facilitate their classification activities in learning of Animalia.
