Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan pelayanan pendidikan bagi peserta didik tunanetra. Berdasarkan temuan dilapangan peneliti menemukan peserta didik tunanetra yang mengalami hambatan dalam kemampuan keseimbangan dalam mempertahankan posisi tubuh, sehingga dibutuhkan solusi yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan keseimbangan secara optimal. Media jalan titian merupakan salah satu yang diharapkan dapat membantu permasalahan peserta didik tunanetra. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan Single Subjek Research (SSR), dengan menggunakan desain penelitian A-B-A yang mana pada fase baseline-1 (A-1) dilakukan tiga sesi, pada fase intervensi (B) dilakukan sebanyak delapan sesi, dan pada fase baseline-2 (A-2) dilakukan sebanyak tiga sesi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitianterbukti bahwa penggunaan media jalan titian secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan keseimbangan peserta didik tunanetra. Hal ini dapat dilihat dengan adanya peningkatan mean level kemampuan peserta didik, mulai dari fase baseline-1 (A-1) sebesar 37,03%, fase intervensi (B) sebesar 53,30%, dan pada fase baseline-2 (A-2) sebesar 61,58%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan pemberian intervensi berupa penggunaan media jalan titian berpengaruh positif pada target behavior dalam penelitian, yaitu peningkatan kemampuan keseimbangan.;---This research was conducted to contribute to improving education services for blind students. Based on the findings in the field, researchers found blind students experienced obstacles in their ability to balance in maintaining body position, so a solution was needed that could improve balance ability optimally. The bridge way media is one that was expected to help the problems of blind students. The method used in this study was the experimental method with the Single Subject Research (SSR) approach, using the ABA research design which in the baseline-1 phase (A-1) carried out three sessions, in the intervention phase (B) eight sessions were carried out, and in the baseline-2 phase (A-2) three sessions were conducted. Based on the results of the research, it is proven that the use of the bridge way media can significantly improve the balance ability of blind students. This can be seen with an increase in the mean level of ability of students, starting from the baseline-1 phase (A-1) of 37.03%, the intervention phase (B) of 53.30%, and in the baseline phase-2 (A- 2) amounting to 61.58%. The results showed that the intervention in the form of the use of bridge way media had a positive effect on the target behavior in the study, namely an increase in balance ability.;---
