Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran laboratorium virtual pada uji daya hantar listrik larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena sebagian peserta didik SMA selama ini mengalami kesulitan dalam mempelajari materi kimia pada level submikroskopis, salah satunya pada materi larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit. Selain itu, pada laboratorium virtual yang ada dinyatakan masih terdapat miskonsepsi. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Developmental Research (DR) dengan menerapkan model pengembangan ADDIE. Tahapan penelitian diawali dengan penentuan karakteristik media pembelajaran dan dibatasi sampai tahap uji coba terbatas. Karakteristik media diperoleh dengan melakukan analisis wacana materi larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit dan analisis elemen media pendukung, sedangkan kelayakan media pembelajaran diperoleh melalui review dengan menggunakan lembar review, serta tanggapan pendidik dan peserta didik sebagai pengguna diperoleh melalui angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, materi yang disajikan pada media pembelajaran laboratorium virtual pada uji daya hantar listrik larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit memuat deskripsi larutan elektrolit dan nonelektorolit, contoh elektrolit dan nonelektrolit, uji daya hantar listrik, dan klasifikasi larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit dengan karakteristik media foto untuk representasi makroskopis, animasi untuk representasi submikroskopis, teks dan gambar untuk representasi simbolik. Berdasarkan hasil review dan uji coba terbatas diperoleh bahwa aspek penggabungan media, manajemen layar, dan navigasi pada media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori baik sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran laboratorium virtual yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran uji daya hantar listrik larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit. This research aims to produce virtual laboratory learning media on the electrical conductivity test of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions. This research was conducted because some high school students had difficulty in studying chemicals at the submicroscopic level, one of which was on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution materials. In addition, the virtual laboratory stated that there were still misconceptions. The method used in this research is Developmental Research (DR) by applying the ADDIE development model. The stages of the study began with the determination of the characteristics of instructional media and was finished to limited trial phase. Characteristics of the media are obtained by analyzing the electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution discourse and analyzing supporting media elements, while the feasibility of learning media is obtained through a review using the review sheet, as well as the responses of educators and students as users obtained through a questionnaire. Based on the results of the research, material presented on the virtual laboratory learning media on the electrical conductivity test of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions contain description of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution example of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte, electrical conductivity test, and classification of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte with photo media characteristics for macroscopic representation, animation for submicroscopic representation, text and images for symbolic representation. Based on the results of the review and limited trials obtained that the aspects of the incorporation of media, screen management, and navigation on the learning media that are developed are included in both categories so that it can be concluded that the virtual laboratory developed can be used for learning the electrical conductivity test of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions.
