Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi tentang struktur dan fungsi bagian tumbuhan, di kelas IV SDN Ciwangun melalui penerapan model Cooperative Learning Tipe NHT (Numbered Heads Together). Hal ini didasari karena adanya berbagai temuan masalah di sekolah, dimana siswa tidak ikut aktif saat pembelajaran, pembelajaran yang masih konvensional, penggunaan model pembelajaran yang kurang tepat yang mengakibatkan hasil belajar siswa belum mampu mencapai ketuntasan minimal mata pelajaran IPA di SDN Ciwangun yakni 60. Dari 33 orang siswa, 15 orang mendapatkan nilai 60-100 atau 45.4% dan sisanya yaitu 18 orang siswa mendapat nilai di bawah 60 atau 54,4%. Berdasarkan masalah itu dalam penelitian ini membahas bagaimana perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran melalui penerapan model Cooperative Learning Tipe NHT (Numbered Heads Together), serta mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Class Room Action) dengan model PTK yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mctaggart. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes. Data observasi meliputi reduksi data, display, kesimpulan. Tes berbentuk pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa melaui penerapan model Cooperative Learning Tipe NHT (Numbered Heads Together) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa serta dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa di kelas IV SDN Ciwangun. Hal itu dapat dilihat dari peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, siklus I baru 60.6% yaitu 20 orang siswa yang mencapai KKM dengan rata-rata nilai 60,0, dan baru di siklus II 84,8 % yaitu 28 orang siswa telah mencapai KKM dengan rata-rata nilai 70,3. Melalui penerapan Cooperative Learning Tipe NHT (Numbered Heads together) juga mampu membawa siswa kedalam suasana belajar yang aktif dan menyenangkan, mereka menemukan hal yang baru yang mampu memotivasi semangat belajar siswa, dan mereka pun memahami pentingnya berbagi dan bekerjasama antar siswa. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in the material of the structure and function of plant parts, in class IV SDN Ciwangun through the implementation of cooperative learning style models NHT (Numbered Heads Together). This is based on the findings because of the various problems in the school, where students do not actively participate while learning, learning that is conventional, using a less precise model of learning that result in student learning outcomes have not been able to achieve a minimum passing grade in science subjects namely SDN Ciwangun 60. Of the 33 students, 15 people get value 60-100 or 45.4% and the remaining 18 students scored below 60 or 54.4%. Based on this research issue discusses how the planning and implementation of learning through the application of the Cooperative Learning Type NHT (Numbered Heads Together), and to know how big an increase in student learning outcomes. This study used action research methods class (Class Room Action) model with PTK developed by Kemmis and McTaggart. Data collection techniques in action research using observation sheets and tests. Observation data includes data reduction, data display, conclusion. Multiple-choice tests. The results showed that through the application of the Cooperative Learning Type NHT (Numbered Heads Together) to improve student learning outcomes and can increase the activity of students in the fourth grade Ciwangun SDN. It can be seen from the increase in student learning outcomes, 60.6% of new first cycle the 20 students who achieved KKM with an average value of 60.0, and was 84.8% in the second cycle of 28 students have achieved KKM with average average value of 70.3. Through the implementation of Cooperative Learning Type NHT (Numbered Heads together) is also capable of bringing students into active learning atmosphere and fun, they find new things that can motivate student learning, and they understand the importance of sharing and cooperation among students.
