    Abstract

    Sejumlah penelitian telah mendokumentasikan kesulitan siswa dalam
    menyelesaikan materi kombinatorika dan ketersediaan bahan ajar yang
    kurang melatih siswa dalam berpikir aktif, yang berakibat pada tingginya
    kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah kombinatorika dilihat dari
    indikator kemampuan pemodelan matematis. Bahan ajar yang
    mempertimbangkan pola berpikir siswa memiliki peranan yang sangat
    penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan
    untuk merancang dan mengembangkan lintasan belajar dalam materi
    kombinatorika yang merupakan sekumpulan aktivitas yang disusun secara
    sistematis menggunakan pembelajaran Pendidikan Matematika Realistik
    (PMR). Rancangan ini disebut dengan Local Instruction Theory (LIT)
    kombinatorika dalam pendekatan PMR. Metode penelitian yang digunakan
    adalah design research dengan 3 langkah lengkap, yaitu preliminary design,
    teaching experiment, dan retrospective analysis. Subjek penelitian pada
    teaching experiment tahap 1 adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 2 SMAN Cahaya
    Madani Banten Boarding School dan subjek pada teaching experiment tahap 2
    adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 2 SMAN 1 Pandeglang, Banten. Penelitian ini
    mendeskripsikan bagaimana desain LIT kombinatorika dalam pendekatan PMR
    yang dikembangkan memberikan kontribusi dalam megembangkan
    kemampuan pemodelan matematis siswa dengan analisis lanjutan pada proses
    matematisasi horizontal dan vertikal. Hasil akhir pembelajaran dimana lebih dari
    sebagian siswa telah mampu memunuculkan langkah-langkah dalam proses
    matematisasi.
    ;---A number of studies have documented students' difficulties in completing
    combinatorics and the availability of teaching materials that less train the
    students to apply active thinking, which results in high errors in solving
    combinatorics problems seen from the indicators of mathematical
    modeling ability. The teaching materials which are concerned with the
    students' thinking patterns have a very important role in the learning
    process. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop the learning
    trajectory about combinatorics learning materials. It consists of a set of
    activities that are arranged systematically using Realistic Mathematics
    Education (hereafter RME) learning. This design is called the Local
    Instruction Theory (hereafter LIT) of combinatorics in the RME approach.
    The research method used was design research with three steps, namely
    preliminary design, teaching experiment, and retrospective analysis. The
    research subjects in the teaching experiment phase 1 were the eleventh
    Natural Science-major graders at SMAN Cahaya Madani Banten Boarding
    School. The subjects in the second teaching stage were the eleventh
    graders at SMAN 1 Pandeglang, Banten. This study describes how LITbased
    combinatorics in the developed RME approach contributes to
    develop the students' mathematical modeling abilities with an extended
    analysis in the horizontal and vertical mathematization process. The final
    learning outcomes, most students have been able to apply the steps in the
    mathematization process.
