Abstract

Manajemen mutu sekolah merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah. Kepala sekolah sebagai seorang manajer, dalam mengoptimalkan kinerjanya harus mampu mengendalikan mutu di sekolah secara terpadu. Untuk itu pula adanya dukungan seluruh stakeholder sekolah termasuk guru dalam hal kedisiplinan. Meningkatkan manajemen mutu sekolah bukan hanya tugas pemerintah melainkan juga tugas kepala sekolah sebagai pimpinan lembaga juga harus meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengaruh kinerja kepala sekolah dan disiplin kerja guru terhadap manajmen mutu sekolah di SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Cililin. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif adapun sampel sebanyak 103 orang yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah dan guru di SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Cililin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap manajemen mutu sekolah yaitu sebesar 11,4% dan disiplin kerja guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan sebesar 25,7%. Sedangkan kinerja kepala sekolah dan disiplin kerja guru bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan sebesar 27,4%. Persamaan regresi yang diperoleh linier artinya semakin tinggi kinerja kepala sekolah dan disiplin kerja guru maka akan semakin tinggi juga manajemen mutu sekolah di SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Cililin. ;---School quality management is one of the efforts to improve the quality of education in schools, where principals as managers to optimize their performance should be able to control quality in schools integratedly, supporting by all stakeholders include teachers, in this case the discipline which run by a teacher. Improving school quality management is not only the duty of the government but also the task of the principal as the head of the institution must also improve the teacher’s discipline. This research was conducted to find out the description of the influence principal’s performance and teacher’s discipline on the school quality management a primary in Cililin. The method used in this research was descriptive with a quantitative approach as well as a sample of 103 people consisting of principals and teachers at primary in Cililin. The results showed that the principal's performance had a positive and significant effect on school quality management which amounted to 11.4% and the teacher's discipline had a positive and significant effect of 25.7% while the principal's performance and teacher’s discipline togetherly had a positive and significant effect of 27.4%. The regression equation obtained linear means that the higher the principal’s performance and the teacher’s discipline, the higher quality school quality management at primary in Cililin.
