Abstract
Fajar Shodiq (1304824). Hubungan Need to belong Dengan Fear of missing out Pada Mahasiswa Pengguna Media Sosial Instagram Di Kota Bandung. Skripsi. Departemen Psikologi, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Bandung. (2019). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan need to belong dengan fear of missing out diri pada mahasiswa pengguna instagram di kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan partisipan berjumlah 324 orang mahasiswa di kota Bandung. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen yang dibuat oleh Nisrina Farahana Salsabila Wibowo dan Mohammad Gilang Santika yang diturunkan dari aspek-aspek need to belong dan fear of missing out oleh Baumeister dan Leary untuk need to belong, Przyblyzski dkk untuk mengukur fear of missing out. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah korelasi sederhana. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif need to belong dengan fear of missing out sebesar 0,327. The purpose of this research is to find the correlation between need to belong and fear of missing out in college instagram user in Bandung city. Quantitative research method used in this research with participant of 324 college student in Bandung city. The instrument in this research was using need to belong and fear of missing out scale made by Nisrina Farahana Salsabila Wibowo and Mohammad Gilang Santika that adapted from the aspects of need to belong and fear of missing out by Baumeister and Leary for the need to belong scale, and Przyblyzski et.all for measuring fear of missing out. Simple correlation data analysis technique is used in this research. Result showed that there is positive correlation between need to belong and fear of missing out with adjustment of 0.327.
