Abstract

Keberadaan kelompok seni tradisional Reog Si Gembol di era pesatnya globalisasi dan modernisasi ini tak kalah saing dengan maraknya kebudayaan asing yang sedang popular saat ini. Hal ini tak luput dari usaha para pemain tokoh Reog Si Gembol guna menarik perhatian para penontonnya terutama kalangan remaja dan anak-anak untuk menyukai bahkan mencintai kebudayaan tradisional melalui pertunjukan Reog Si Gembol yang unik dan memberikan pesan positif kepada para penontonnya. Agar pelestarian kebudayaan dapat berkembang dengan baik maka peneliti mengkaji mengenai Pola Pewarisan Reog Si Gembol. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif yang menggambarkan dan mendeskripsikan sebuah gambaran umum mengenai Pola Pewarisan Reog Si Gembol Dalam Mempertahankan Eksistensi Kesenian Tradisional di tengah Budaya Populer. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pola pewarisan Reog Si Gembol dilihat dari usaha para pemeran tokoh Reog Si Gembol secara turun-temurun melalui sosialiasai, internalisasi dan enkulturasi dengan menggunakan metode atau pendekatan Teaching and learning by doing. Kendala yang dihadapi saat proses pewarisan yakni kendala internal dan eksternal. Upaya yang dilakukan Reog Si Gembol dalam proses pewarisan kebudayaan tradisional yakni yang utama berasal dari sosialisasi keluarga, melawan budaya popular dengan karya, selalu mengadakan kegiatan rutin yang berhubungan dengan pewarisan nilai kebudayaan tradisional serta adanya pengkaderan. The existence of the traditional arts group Reog Si Gembol in the era of rapid globalization and modernization is no less competitive with the rise of foreign culture that is currently popular. This is not spared from the efforts of the players Reog Si Gembol to attract the attention of the audience, especially teenagers and children to love and even love traditional culture through the unique Reog Si Gembol performances and give a positive message to the audience. In order for cultural preservation to develop well, researchers examined the Reog Si Gembol's Inheritance Pattern. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods that illustrate and describe a general description of Reog Si Gembol's Inheritance Pattern in Maintaining the Existence of Traditional Art in the Middle of Popular Culture. The results showed that Reog Si Gembol's inheritance pattern was seen from the hereditary efforts of Reog Si Gembol players through socialization, internalization and enculturation by using teaching and learning by doing method or approach. Constraints faced during the process of inheritance are internal and external constraints, the efforts made by Reog Si Gembol for processing the inheritance of traditional culture, which are primarily derived from family socialization, against popular culture with works, always hold routine activities related to inheritance traditional cultural values and the existence of regeneration Reog Si Gembol players
