Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi berdasarkan kebanyakan sekolah pembelajaran hanya dilakukan di kelas masih terpaku pada teori-teori di dalam kelas, begitupun proses pelaksanaannya. Apalagi pembelajaran PKn kebanyakan proses pembelajaran kenyataannya seringkali disebut sebagai mata pelajaran hafalan, dalam hal tersebut akan berakibat kejenuhan kepada siswa. Mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan cara meningkatkan semangat siswa dalam aktivitas belajar melalui pembelajaran di luar kelas yang didalamnya terdapat pembinaan terhadap karakter siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif , Peran peneliti dalam penelitian kualitatif sangat besar dan berpengaruh karena dalam penelitian kualitatif, peneliti menjadi objek utama dalam menyusun, mengumpulkan dan mengolah data yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. metode studi deskriptif memungkinkan peneliti untuk tidak hanya memaparkan kondisi objektif suatu objek penelitian berdasarkan penggambaran faktual saja tetapi juga dapat mendeskripsikan suatu gejala,peristiwa yang terjadi pada saat sekarang atau masalah aktual. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui wawancara, obsevasi dan studi dokumentasi. Dalam hal ini,teknik analisis data yang diguanakan adalah reduksi data , penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun temuan dari penelitian ini yaitu: 1) kegiatan yang dilaksanakan telah berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa 2) dalam pembelajaran diluar kelas didalamnya menerapkan nilai-nilai positif yang membentuk karakter siswa peduli terhadap lingkungan sekitarnya. ;---The study was backed by the majority of the school based learning is only done in the classroom is still fixated on the theories in the classroom, as well as the process of its implementation. Moreover, civic education learning most of the learning process in fact often referred to as subjects memorized, in which case it will result in saturation to the students. Overcoming these problems required a way of enhancing the spirit of students in learning activities learning outside of the classroom through which there is coaching against the character of students. The approach used in this study using qualitative approach, the role of the researcher in the qualitative research is very large and influential because in qualitative research, researchers become the main object in the compile, collect and processing the data required in the research. The methods used in this research is descriptive method. a descriptive study of methods allows researchers to not only expose the objective condition of an object of research based on factual depiction only but it can also describe a symptom, the events that occur when a problem now or actual. Data collection techniques used through interviews, obsevasi and study of documentation. In this case, the diguanakan data analysis techniques is the reduction of the data, the presentation of the data and the withdrawal of the conclusion. As for the findings of this research are: 1) activities undertaken have contributed in improving student learning spirit. 2) in learning outside of the classroom in it applies the positive values that make up the character of the students care about the surrounding environment.
