Abstract

Konsepsi siswa merupakan dasar pemikiran yang digunakan untuk mendorong siswa mendapatkan konsepsi yang ilmiah, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu memfasilitasi siswa untuk mengubah konsepsi melalui penerapan strategi PDEODODE melalui Conceptual Change Model. Diskusi dalam pembelajaran tersebut melibatkan kolaborasi setiap siswa dalam kelompoknya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Embedded Experimental Design dalam Mix Method dengan jumlah subjek penelitian 62 siswa (31 siswa kelas eksperimen, 31 siswa kelas kontrol) kelas XI pada salah satu SMA Negeri Kabupaten Kuningan. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu Four Tier Static Fluid Test (4TSFT), Collaboration Skills Observation Sheet (CSOS), dan LKPD PDEODODE. Adapun hasil penelitian ini antara lain: (1) Efektivitas pembelajaran PDEODODE melalui CCM dianalisis berdasarkan skor effect sice d=0,82 dengan interpretasi big, artinya pembelajaran tersebut efektif dalam mengubah kuantitas konsepsi siswa; (2) Rerata pengubahan persentase jumlah siswa pada setiap level konsepsi cenderung berada dalam kategori positif dengan interpretasi No Acceptable, kecuali level konsepsi Un-Code. Analisis lebih lanjut, pengubahan level konsepsi pada setiap siswa yang mencapai persentase tertinggi yaitu tipe R (Revision); (3) Interpretasi setiap aspek keterampilan kolaborasi siswa selama proses pembelajaran PDEODODE-CCM berada dalam kategori cukup baik untuk participation dan feedback, sedangkan kategori sangat baik untuk time management; (4) Melalui Uji Somers’ d bahwa adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara proses pengubahan konsepsi dan keterampilan kolaborasi dengan skor korelasi mencapai 0,400 berada pada interpretasi weak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut bahwa pembelajaran PDEODODE melalui CCM berdampak baik bagi konsepsi siswa.;---Student conception is a rationale that will be used to encourage students to get a scientific conception so that learning becomes more meaningful. The aim of this study is to facilitate students to change conception through the implementation of PDEODODE-Conceptual Change Model. The discussion in this learning involves the collaboration of each student in the group. The method used in this study is Embedded Experimental Design in Mix Method with the number of research subjects 62 students (31 students in the experimental class, 31 students in control class) in One of Secondary School in Kuningan. The instruments that utilized in this study consisted of the Four Tier Static Fluid Test (4TSFT), Collaboration Skills Observation Sheet (CSOS), and PDEODODE worksheet. The results of this study are: (1) The effectiveness of PDEODODE learning through CCM is analyzed based on the effect size score d = 0.82 with a big interpretation, it indicates that the learning is effective in changing the quantity of student conception; (2) The mean change in the percentage of students at each level of conception tends to be in the positive category with No Acceptable interpretation, except Un-Code. Further analysis, changing the level of conception in each student who reaches the highest percentage is type R (Revision); (3) Interpretation of every aspect of student collaboration skills during the PDEODODE-CCM learning process is good enough for participation and feedback, while the category is very good for time management; (4) Through the Somers 'd test that there is a significant relationship between the process of changing conception and collaboration skills with a correlation score reaching 0.400 is at a weak interpretation. Based on the results, the learning of PDEODODE -CCM has a good impact on students’ conception.
