Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar peserta didik dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik kelas X Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan 3 di SMKN 2 Garut. (2) Mengetahui perbandingan prestasi belajar peserta didik dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) dan prestasi belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan metode ceramah. (3) Mengetahui kendala apa yang di alami pada saat penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik kelas X Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan 3 di SMKN 2 Garut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Experimental Design dengan jenis pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas X Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan 1 dan 3 sebanyak 65 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pedoman observasi dan tes. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah rata-rata skor (mean), n-gain, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji mann whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar peserta didik sebelum diberikan model pembelajaran TGT saat pretest kelompok kontrol dan kelompok ekperimen adalah 40.00 dan 42.66. Prestasi belajar peserta didik sesudah diberikan model pembelajaran saat TGT adalah 80.45 dan 80.16. Peningkatan prestasi belajar peserta didik setelah diberikan model TGT sebesar 40.15% dari rata-rata hasil belajar pretest ke posttest yaitu 40.30 menjadi 80.45. Sedangkan perbedaan prestasi belajar peserta didik sebesar 0,29%, dimana data perbedaan prestasi belajar tersebut diperoleh dari selisih rata-rata antara posttest kelompok eksperimen yang mendapatkan perlakuan model pembelajaran TGT dengan posttest kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode ceramah, rata-rata posttest kelompok eksperimen yaitu 80.45 sedangkan kelompok kontrol yaitu 80.16. Dengan kata lain, terdapat peningkatan prestasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Menanika Teknik dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournaments di SMKN 2 Garut;---This study aims to: (1) Determine the improvement of students' learning achievement by applying the cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) in Engineering Mechanics class X Modeling and Building Information 3 Design at SMK 2 Garut. (2) Knowing the comparison of students' learning achievement with the application of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) and learning achievement of students by using the lecture method. (3) Knowing the obstacles experienced during the implementation of the cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) in the subjects of Engineering Class X Building Modeling and Information Design 3 in SMK 2 Garut. This research is a Quasi Experimental Design research with the type of pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this study is class X Modeling Design and Information Building 1 and 3 as many as 65 students. Data collection in this study uses observation and test guidelines. The data analysis used is the average score (mean), n-gain, normality test, homogeneity test, mann whitney test. The results showed that the learning achievement of students before being given the TGT learning model at the pretest of the control group and experimental group was 40.00 and 42.66. Learning achievement of students after being given the learning model when the TGT is 80.45 and 80.16. The improvement of students' learning achievement after being given the TGT model was 40.15% of the average pretest to posttest learning result of 40.30 to 80.45. While the differences in learning achievement of students was 0.29%, where the data on the differences in learning achievement was obtained from the average difference between the posttest experimental group that received the treatment of the TGT learning model with the posttest control group using the lecture method, the average posttest of the experimental group, namely 80.45 while the control group is 80.16. In other words, there is an increase in learning achievement of students in the Menanika Teknik subject with the application of the Teams Games Tournaments cooperative learning model at SMK 2 Garut.
