Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memahami konsepsi siswa sekolah dasar tentang bilangan bulat. Paradigma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu fenomenologi hermeneutik yang memandang bahwa suatu realitas makna dapat dipahami dengan menelusuri pengalaman pemaknaannya. Dalam penelitian ini, pengalaman belajar siswa ditelusuri untuk dapat memahami proses terbentuknya konsepsi siswa tentang bilangan bulat. Konsepsi siswa yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini meliputi learning obstacle yang dialami siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Temuan learning obstacle memberi informasi mengenai konsep awal siswa tentang bilangan bulat. Temuan learning obstacle pada siswa juga dijadikan sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam mengembangkan rekomendasi desain didaktis awal. Desain penelitian yang digunakan mengacu pada didactical design research (DDR). DDR berpijak pada dua paradigma penelitian, yaitu interpretif dan kritis. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma interpretif dimana hanya mengkaji fenomena realitas yang ada kaitannya dengan dampak desain didaktis terhadap cara berpikir seseorang.;---This study was conducted with the aim to understand the conception of elementary school students about integers. The paradigm used in this research is hermeneutic phenomenology which considers that a reality of meaning can be understood by tracing the meaning experience. In this study, students' learning experiences are traced to understand the process of forming student conceptions of integers. Student conceptions discussed in this study include obstacle learning experienced by students in learning activities. Obstacle learning findings provide information about the students' initial concepts of integers. Obstacle learning findings on students are also used as a consideration in developing early didactic design recommendations. The research design used refers to didactical design research (DDR). DDR stands on two paradigms of research, namely interpretive and critical. This study uses an interpretive paradigm which only examines the phenomenon of reality that has to do with the impact of didactic design on one's thinking.
