Abstract

Siswa Cerebal Palsy adalah siswa yang mengalami hambatan pada sistem geraknya, terutama pada motorik halusnya sehingga berdampak pada proses belajar siswa terutama pada saat melakukan aktifitas menulis. terdapat siswa Cerebral Palsy (Spastik Quadriplegia) dimana mengalami kelumpuhan pada keempat anggota gerak. Sehingga berdampak dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari, terutama dalam melakukan aktifitas akademik yaitu, menulis. Materi pelajaran yang diajarkan kepada subjek dicatatnya menggunakan alat tulis, namun hal tersebut menimbulkan permasalahan terhadap keutuhan materi yang diterima oleh subjek. Hal tersebut menjadi sangat penting bagi bahan untuk kebutuhan belajarnya. Subjek mampu dalam menghafal pelajaran yang telah diterimanya melalui membaca ulang hasil tulisannya, namun kemampuan untuk menuliskan materi-materi pelajaran yang diterimanya melalui alat tulis membuat subjek sangat kesulitan. Hal inilah yang mendasari penulis untuk memfasilitasi subjek dengan mengkompensasi potensi yang dimiliki subjek dengan alat bantu yang dapat mengakomodasi kegiatan menulisnya. Alat bantu untuk menunjang kemampuannya dalam menulis adalah berupa Assistive Technology. Tujuan utama peneliti merancang Assistive Technology tersebut adalah sebagai bentuk kompensasi kepada subjek untuk dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan menulis yaitu Easy keybord, Dimana Easy keybord adalah suatu alat yang dirancang untuk membantu siswa dengan hambatan fisik untuk menunjang menulisnya dengan desain menyerupai keyboard pada umumnya namun memiliki tuts yang 2X lebih besar daripada keyboard konvensional pada umumnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan Research and development method dengan desain ADDIE (Analisis, Desain, Development, Implementasi, and Evaluation). Dari data yang sudah diperoleh menunjukan bahwa adanya perubahan desain untuk keyboard itu sendiri setelah melakukan validasi kepada beberapa ahli. Selain itu keyboard yang sudah fix digunakan memberikan pengaruk kepada siswa ketika diujikan menggunakan soal dan di nilai menggunakan metode SSR(single subject research) peningkatan yang terjadi dari baseline-1 (A-1) ke baseline 2(A-2) mencapai 38,12% data tersebut menjelaskan bahwa Easy keybord dapat berpengaruh kepada keterampilan menulis siwa Cerebal Palsy. Dengan demikian Easy keybord dapat digunakan sebagai alat pengganti menulis yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa Cerebal Palsy. ;---Cerebal Palsy students are students who experience obstacles in the system of motion, especially in fine motor so affects the learning process of students, especially when doing writing activities. there are students of Cerebral Palsy (Spastik Quadriplegia) who experience paralysis in all four limbs. Impact that we can see at performing daily activities, especially in conducting academic activities especially on writing activity. Lesson material taught to the subject he recorded using stationery, but it causes problems to the integrity of the material received by the subject. It becomes very important for materials for their learning needs. The subject is able to memorize the lessons he has received through re-reading his writing, but the ability to write the lesson material he receives through the stationery makes the subject very difficult. This is the underlying writer to facilitate the subject by compensating the potential of the subject with tools that can accommodate his writing activities. Tools to support his ability in writing is Assistive Technology. The main purpose of the researcher designing Assistive Technology is as a form of compensation to the subject to be used in the writing activities of Easy keybord, where Easy keybord is a tool designed to help students with physical barriers to support writing with designs resemble the keyboard in general but has a key to larger than the conventional keyboard. This research uses Research and development method with ADDIE design (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). From the data that has been obtained shows that there is a design change for the keyboard itself after validation to some experts. In addition, the fixed keyboard is used to give the students a scratch when tested using the problem and in the value using the SSR method (single subject research) the increase that occurs from baseline-1 (A-1) to baseline 2 (A-2) reaches 38.12 % of the data explains that Easy keybord can affect the writing skill of Cerebal Palsy. Thus Easy keybord can be used as a substitute for writing that can improve the writing skills of Cerebal Palsy students.
