Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa di kelas V di salah satu SD Negeri di Kota Bandung. Hal tersebut dikarenakan guru dalam melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas masih bersifat teacher center sehingga siswa kurang aktif dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembalajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dengan menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement (STAD) bagi siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi, catatan lapangan, serta dokumentasi. Subjek pada penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar berjumlah 38 orang. Pengolahan data dan analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa;--- This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of cooperation in class V SD Negei in Bandung. This is because the teacher in conducting classroom learning activities is still a teacher center so that students are less active in participating in learning activities. This research was conducted to determine the improvement of learning outcomes by applying the cooperative learning approach type Student Team Achievement (STAD) for fourth grade elementary school students. This research method uses classroom action research. Data collection techniques in research using observation sheets, field notes, and documentation. Subjects in this study were 38 elementary school students. Data processing and data analysis used are qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that the application of Student Team Achievement (STAD) type of cooperative learning could improve student learning outcomes.
