Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mencoba mencari tahu tentang implementasi pendidikan karakter yang ada, khususnya di SDIT cendekia purwakarta melalui budaya sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus, dan mencoba menyelidiki nilai apa saja yang coba di kembangkan, serta mencari tahu apa saja hambatan dari implementasi yang dilakukan melalui budaya sekolah, dalam rangka membangun karakter peserta didik. Dalam implementasinya, SDIT cendekia banyak mengadopsi dan berkiblat pada pendidikan berbasis agama islam. Hal ini jelas terlihat dari kurikulum muatan lokal yang banyak mencantumkan pelajaran agama islam, serta kegiatan-kegiatan lain diluar jam pelajaran seperti pembiasaan solat dhuha, murojaah Quran, tahfidz Quran, klub literasi, keputrian, upacara bendera, dan extrakurikuler, serta keteladanan guru yang banyak bersumber pada ajaran agama islam. Adapun nilai-nilai yang ada coba di internalisasikan seperti nilai disiplin, nilai tanggung jawab, nilai cinta tanah air, nilai sopan & santun, nilai kemandirian, nilai kejujuran, dan nilai nilai religius, semata-mata bertujuan untuk mejadikan peserta didik pribadi yang beriman, bertaqwa, berilmu dan beramal shaleh. Dan hal ini pula yang menjadi tujuan dari pendidikan yang dilakukan di SDIT Cendekia Purwakarta.----------The purpose of this study is to try to find out about the implementation of existing character education, especially in SDIT Scholar Purwakarta through school culture. This research uses the case study method, and tries to investigate what values are trying to be developed, as well as find out what are the obstacles of implementation carried out through school culture, in order to build the character of students. In its implementation, SDIT Scholar has adopted and oriented many Islamic based education. This is clearly seen from the local content curriculum which includes many Islamic religious lessons, as well as other activities outside of class hours such as habituation of the Duha prayer, Murojaah Quran, Tahfidz of the Quran, literacy clubs, princesses, flag ceremonies, and extracurricular activities, as well as many exemplary teachers. based on the teachings of Islam. The existing values try to internalize such as the value of discipline, the value of responsibility, the value of patriotism, the value of courtesy & courtesy, the value of independence, the value of honesty, and the value of religious values, solely aimed at making personal students who believe, pious, knowledgeable and good deeds. And this is also the aim of the education carried out at SDIT Cendekia Purwakarta.
