Abstract
Peningkatan mutu pendidikan berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan suatu negara. Pendidikan sebagai aspek yang penting dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Sekolah perlu memperhatikan motivasi belajar siswa sebagai salah satu aspek penting dalam menunjang keberhasilan pendidikan. Motivasi belajar siswa dapat terbentuk salah satunya melalui model pembelajaran discovery learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh (1) gambaran penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning, (2) gambaran motivasi belajar siswa, (3) gambaran intuisi belajar, (4) gambaran imajinasi belajar, (5) gambaran kreativitas belajar, (6) pengaruh intuisi terhadap motivasi belajar, (7) pengaruh imajinasi terhadap motivasi belajar, (8) pengaruh kreativitas terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, (9) pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan verifikatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey dengan teknik probability sampling dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 136 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah path analysis dengan alat bantu program SPSS 24.0 for Windows. Hasil temuan penelitian diketahui bahwa model pembelajaran discovery learning berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dengan pengaruh berkategori tinggi. Penulis merekomendasikan agar SMK Negeri 3 Bandung dapat lebih memperhatikan faktor model pembelajaran discovery learning yaitu meliputi intuisi, imajinasi, dan kreativitas, untuk dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Improving education quality affects the development of a country. Education as an important aspect in enrich the life of a nation. Students’ Learning Motivation can be created one of which is through Discovery Learning. The present study aims to obtain (1) the description of apply discovery learning, (2) the description of students’ learning motivation, (3) the description of learning intuition, (4) the description of learning imagination, (5) learning creativity, (6) the influence of intuition on learning motivation, (7) the influence of imagination on learning motivation, (8) the influence of creativity on students’ learning motivation, (9) the influence of discovery learning on students’ learning motivation. The type of the study is using descriptive and verification. The method used is an explanatory survey with probability sampling technique of 136 respondents. The data analysis technique is using a path analysis with SPSS 24.0 for Windows program tools. Based on the results of the study, it can be known that the discovery learning has a partial effect on the students’ learning motivation with a high influence category. The writer recommends that SMKN 3 Bandung can pay more attention to the discovery learning factors include intuition, imagination, and creativity, to increase students’ learning motivation.
