Abstract

Layanan pendidikan bagi anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan ringan haruslah bersifat fungsional untuk meningkatkan kemandirian dan menjadi orang yang dipercaya untuk memasuki dunai kerja, salah satunya kelas vokasional. Namun kelas vokasional menjahit yang ada di SLB Angkasa Lanud Sulaiman masih bersifat akademis dan belum disalurkan ke lapangan pekerjaan. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengetahui pengaruh sistem magang di konveksi terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menjahit pada anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan ringan. Subjek penelitian berjumlah satu orang dengan inisial MF. MF adalah alumni SLB Angkasa Lanud Sulaiman yang kemampuan keterampilan menjahitnya belum disalurkan ke lapangan pekerjaan. Melalui sistem magang, MF memperloeh pengetahuan keterampilan menjahit dengan bimbingan mentor dari pihak konveksi pun memberikan pengalaman nyata bagi MF tentang dunia kerja. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eskperimen Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan desain penelitian A-B-A. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mean level keterampilan menjahit kancing kondisi baseline-1 (A1) 56,14%, kondisi intervensi (B) 68,05%, kondisi baseline-2 (A2) 81,58%. Mean level keterampilan menjahit lubang kancing baseline-1 (A1) 56,06%, kondisi intervensi (B) 62,01%, kondisi baseline-2 (A2) 78,79%. Mean level keterampilan menjahit kelim kondisi baseline-1 (A1) 56,00%, kondisi intervensi (B) 66,57%, kondisi baseline-2 (A2) 78,00%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka sistem magang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menjahit pada MF. Peneliti merekomendasikan pihak sekolah untuk merencanakan pembelajaran berkelanjutan bagi anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan ringan agar mempersiapkan mereka menuju dunia kerja. Karena pada akhirnya anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan ringan diharapkan mampu mengatur kehidupannya secara mandiri.;--Educational services for children with mild intelligence must be functional to prepare independent children and be able to work in the society, for example a vocational class. But the sewing vocational class in SLB Angkasa Lanud Sulaiman is still academic and has not been distributed to employment yet. The purpose of the research is to determine the effect of the apprenticeship system on convection to improve sewing skills that children with intellectual disabilities owned. Research subjects is one person with the initials MF. MF is a student of SLB Angkasa Lanud Sulaiman which sewing skills has not been distributed to the employment. The apprenticeship system can improve MF sewing skills, this skills can be use later. The method applied is the Single Subject Research (SSR) experiment method with A-B-A research design. The results showed the mean level of button sewing skills in baseline-1 condition (A1) 56,14%, intervention condition (B) 68,05%, baseline-2 condition (A2) 81,58%. The mean level of buttonhole sewing skills in baseline-1 (A1) 56,06%, intervention condition (B) 62,01%, baseline condition -2 (A2) 78,79%. Mean level of seam sewing skills in baseline-1 condition (A1) 56,00%, intervention condition (B) 66,57%, baseline-2 condition (A2) 78,00%. Based on the results of the research, the apprenticeship system can improve sewing skills in children with intellectual disabilities. Researchers recommend the school to plan sustainable learning for children with mild intelligence obstacles to prepare them for the world of work. Because in the end the child with mild intelligence is expected to be able to manage his life independently.
