Abstract

PENGARUH FANATISME PENGGEMAR KOREAN POP TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN PEMBELIAN MERCHANDISE PADA KOMUNITAS HALLYU UP!EDUTAINMENT Dewi Fitriani Haryono 1504188 ABSTRAK Saat ini arus globalisasi sedang gencar-gencarnya menerjang dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Perkembangan globalisasi melahirkan sebuah tren yakni budaya populer. Budaya populer yang tengah diminati oleh masyarakat khususnya remaja adalah budaya Korean Pop (Hallyu). Tampilan visual yang menarik, inovatif dan elegan menjadi daya tarik ampuh bagi penggemar agar ingin terus mengonsumsi Korean Pop. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui gambaran fanatisme penggemar Korean Pop, (2) mengetahui gambaran keputusan pembelian merchandise pada penggemar Korean Pop, (3) mengetahui besarnya pengaruh fanatisme penggemar Korean Pop terhadap keputusan pembelian merchandise). Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui penyebaran angket tertutup. Responden ialah para penggemar Korean Pop yang tergabung dalam komunitas Hallyu Up!Edutainment Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang besar dan signifikan antara fanatisme penggemar dan keputusan pembelian merchandise. Tingkat fanatisme penggemar sangat berpengaruh dalam keputusan pembelian merchandise oleh penggemar Korean Pop Kata kunci : Fanatisme, Keputusan pembelian, merchandise, Penggemar THE INFLUENCE OF FANATICISM ON KOREAN POP CULTURE ENTHUSIASTS AGAINST THE DECISION TO PURCHASE MERCHANDISE IN HALLYU UP! EDUTAINMENT COMMUNITY Dewi Fitriani Haryono 1504188 ABSTRACK At tis time, globalization was keen to strike world as well as Indonesia. the development of rapid globalization begets a culture trends is popular culture. Popular culture who ae interested by society are Korean pop culture (hallyu). The visual appearance of an interesting, innovative and elegant became a powerful attraction to hypnotize to continue consuming Korean pop culture. This research aims to (1) find out the description of fanaticism on Korean pop culture enthusiast , (2) find out the decision to purchase merchandise, (3) knowing the magnitude influence of fanaticism on Korean pop culture enthusiast against the decision to purchase merchandise. The data collected using descriptive methods and quantitative approach through spreading closed questionnaire. The respondents are Korean pop enthusiast in Hallyu UP!Edutainment community. According to the results of the showed that big and significant influences of fanaticism on Korean pop culture against a decision to purchase merchandise. It can be concluded that the more positive of fanaticism fans, the more positive or higher too in purchasing decisions of merchandise. Otherwise, if the fanaticism fans more negative or lower, therefore the lower too in purchasing decisions of merchandise. Keyword : fanaticism, purchasing decisions, merchandise and fans
