Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini didasari adanya fenomena kebingungan siswa SMK terhadap karir yang akan dipilih yang tidak sejalan dengan karir yang sebenarnya diinginkan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menghasilkan program bimbingan karir yang efektif untuk mengembangkan kematangan karir siswa menengah kejuruan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain penelitian non equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK Taruna Mandiri Cimahi dengan mengambil subjek penelitian yaitu kelas XI Jurusan Listrik. Program bimbingan karir berisi kegiatan layanan pengembangan di aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik dengan indikator (1) aspek kognitif ditunjukkan dengan berfikir realistik, pengetahuan tentang membuat keputusan, pemahaman perilaku dalam industri; (2) aspek afektif ditunjukkan dengan percaya diri, menyadari potensi diri, optimis; (3) aspek psikomotorik ditunjukkan dengan pencarian informasi, praktek mengatur waktu, konsultasi karir. Kegiatan layanan tersebut meliputi 1) eksplorasi pemahaman, 2) eksplorasi potensi diri dan 3) eksplorasi aktivitas diri Hasil menunjukkan secara empiris intervensi program bimbingan karir berdasarkan teori Super cukup efektif untuk mengembangkan kematangan karir siswa. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi konselor sekolah dalam pengembangan program bimbingan karir siswa di sekolah terutama mereka yang berada di masa remaja. Kata kunci : Kematangan Karir, Program Bimbingan karir, Sekolah Kejuruan, Super Abstract This research is based on the phenomena that occur students towards careers that will be taken is not in line with the actual career desired. The research objectives are to produce an effective career guidance program to develop career maturity. This research uses quantitative with a quasi experiment method with a non-pretest-posttest control group design research design. The study was conducted at the Taruna Mandiri Cimahi Vocational School by taking the subject of research, namely the XI class of the Electrical Department. Career guidance programs provide cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects with indicators (1) from cognitive aspects is supporting realistic thinking, knowledge of how to make decisions, cognitive understanding in industry; (2) from the affective aspect is Optimizing potential with confidence, understanding self potential, optimism; and (3) from the psychomotor aspects discussed with information seeking, time consultation, career consultation. The career guidance program activities contain 1) exploration of understanding, 2) exploration of self-potential and 3) exploration of self-activity. The results show that empirical interventions of career guidance programs based on super theory are effective enough to develop students' career maturity.
