Abstract

ABSTRAK PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DALAM PROGRAM PARENTING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KAPASITAS PENGASUHAN ORANG TUA (Studi Kasus di Sekolah Gemintang Indonesia Kota Bandung) RIDA FITRIYANI Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya ilmu pengetahuan yang harus dimiliki oleh orang tua sebagai pendidik dalam membantu proses perkembangan anak usia dini melalui kegiatan parenting berbasis masalah, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat tahapan implementasi dari penerapan pendekatan problem based learning dalam program parenting untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pengasuhan orang tua di pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai : 1) Proses inventarisasi masalah dalam program parenting, 2) Proses penyelesaian masalah dalam program parenting, 3) Proses evaluasi dalam program parenting. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif , dengan teknik wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 6 orang, 1 orang pengelola program, 2 orang tutor atau pemateri program, serta 3 orang peserta didik yang merupakan orang tua murid. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu : 1) proses inventarisasi masalah baik pada program parenting kelas pertemuan orang tua maupun hari konsultasi orang tua meliputi tahap menentukan masalah, tahap merumuskan masalah yang dialami dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, serta tahap analisis masalah, 2) proses penyelesaian masalah dalam program parenting terbagi ke dalam dua jenis yakni penyelesaian masalah kelompok pada kegiatan kelas pertemuan orang dan penyelesaian masalah individu pada konsultasi khusus , 3) Proses evaluasi dilakukan dalam dua jenis evaluasi proses dan hasil. Evaluasi proses menekankan pada evaluasi penyelenggaraan, evaluasi hasil menekankan pada dampak dari hasil program parenting. 1) Saran bagi lembaga khususnya bagi pengelola alangkah baiknya membuat format penilain secara terstruktur, 2) Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat lebih mendalam penelitian ini dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Kata kunci : Penerapan Problem based learning , Parenting, Pola Asuh   ABSTRACT IMPLEMENTATION OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING APPROACHES IN PARENTING PROGRAMS TO IMPROVE PARENTS CARE CAPACITY (Case Study at The Gemintang Indonesia School In Bandung) RIDA FITRIYANI Indonesia University Of Education This research is motivated by the importance of knowledge that must be possessed by parents as educators in helping the process of early childhood development through problem-based parenting activities. This study aims to look at the implementation stages of applying the problem-based learning approach in the parenting program to increase parenting capacity in early childhood education (PAUD). The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of: 1) The process of inventory problems in the parenting program, 2) The process of solving problems in the parenting program, 3) The process of evaluation in the parenting program. The research method used is a qualitative method, with interview techniques, observation and documentation studies. This research is a case study research with 6 research subjects, 1 program manager, 2 tutors or program presenters, and 3 students who are students' parents. The results of the study are: 1) the process of inventorying the problem of parenting class program parental meeting classes and parents' consultation days which include the stage of determining the problem, the stage of formulating the problems experienced in daily life, as well as the stage of problem analysis, 2) the process of problem solving in the program parenting is divided into two types of group problem solving namely at class meeting activities and individual problem solving namely at a special consultation, 3) The evaluation process is carried out in two types of process evaluation and results. Process evaluation emphasizes implementation evaluation, results evaluation emphasizes the impact of parenting program results. 1) Suggestions for institutions, especially for managers, it would be better to create a structured assessment format, 2) Suggestions for further researchers are expected to be more in-depth in this study with quantitative research methods.
