Abstract

Pengaruh Metode Drill Terhadap Peningkatan Keterampila Tata Cara Makan dan Minum Anak Multiple Disabilities with Visual Impairment ABSTRAK Keterampilan Tata Cara Makan dan Minum sangat penting diketahui dan dikuasai oleh setiap anak berkebutuhan khusus, baik itu anak tunanetra, tunarungu, tunagrahita, tunadaksa, tunalaras, dan terlebih bagi anak dengan Multiple Disabilitie with Visual Impairment. Anak MDVI (deafblind) berinisial DN berusia 15 tahun dimana belum terampil dalam Keterampilan Tata Cara Makan dan Minum secara mandiri diakibatkan oleh tidak percayanya orang tua terhadap anak untuk melakukan sesuatu hal secara mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bagaimana tingkat keterampilan anak MDVI dalam tata cara makan dan minum setelah diberikan intervensi menggunakan metode drill, metode drill yaitu metode berlatih keterampilan baru secara terus menerus menekankan satu aspek keterampilan baru yang akan dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini keterampilan yang akan dikembangkan yaitu keterampilan makan dan minum pada anak MDVI. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen Single Subject Reserch dengan desain penelitan A-B-A. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa mean level keterampilan tata cara makan dan minum pada anak MDVI bernama DN, pada baseline 1 (A-1) sebesar 50,00%, fase intervensi (B) sebesar 67,30% dan fase baseline 2 (A-2) sebesar 85,19%. Terlihat dari hasil diatas menunjukkan peningkatan pada Keterampilan Tata Cara Makan dan Minum dengan menggunakkan Metode drill pada anak MDVI bernama DN dengan artian bahwa anak MDVI terampil dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yaitu Keterampilan Tata Cara Makan dan Minum terutama anak terampil dalam menggunakan alat-alat makan dan minum seperti sendok, garpu, piring,dsb secara mandiri setelah diberikan intervensi. Kata kunci : Multiple disabilities with Visual Impairment (MDVI), Keterampilan Tata Cara Makan dan Minum, Metode Drill. The Influence of Drill Method on Improving Skills in the Procedure of Eating and Drinking Children with Multiple Disabilities with Visual Impairment ABSTRACT Eating and Drinking Skills is very important to be known and mastered by every child with special needs, be it a child who is blind, hearing impaired, mental retardation, physical impairment, physical impairment, and especially for children with Multiple Disabilities with Visual Impairment. The MDVI child (deafblind) with the initials DN is 15 years old who is not yet skilled in the Food and Drinking Procedure Skills independently due to the parents not believing in children to do things independently. This study aims to reveal how the level of MDVI children's skills in the procedures for eating and drinking after being given an intervention using the drill method, the drill method is a method of practicing new skills continuously emphasizing one aspect of new skills to be developed in this study the skills to be developed are skills eating and drinking in MDVI children. The research method used was a Single Subject Reserch experimental method with A-B-A research design. The results showed that the mean level of eating and drinking skills in MDVI children named DN, at baseline 1 (A-1) was 50.00%, the intervention phase (B) was 67.30% and the baseline phase 2 (A-2 ) by 85.19%. Seen from the results above shows an increase in the Procedure of Eating and Drinking Procedures by using the drill method on MDVI children named DN in the sense that MDVI children are skilled in daily life, namely the Eating and Drinking Skills, especially children skilled in using eating utensils and drink like a spoon, fork, plate, etc. independently after being given an intervention.
